Is, this, safe to use, without any pins in it? Silly question but I am just trying to keep my father in law safe

There is a pin where the main curved frame meets the front bottom bar that pulls out. If yours doesn't have a pin, you may want to contact support for a replacement.. I can't attach a photo to a reply, but see the video at about 5: 04 - where I'm inserting the pin..
