The kgv is a very overrated. People don't understand it, so they put it down. All the other translations you can receive the Holy Spirit from. Why is it that Alistair beg, one of the most wonderful anointed Godly men to do expository preaching on the bible, why is it that he uses the ESV version? Because it works. He knows that his congregation will not get the kgv at all. Sometimes I think that we are so self righteous, that we think the kgv is the best. JD farag even said recently, that the kgv is not what it's cracked up to be. I think there's some deception going on. Maybe the people that don't want you to understand the Bible are the ones that are telling you to read the kgv only. Just maybe.
