    A to B might be good for beginners but eventually doing tre flips in straight line is the way to go. Nothing beats that feeling when you got the board to tre flip in a straight line directly under your feet. You just need to have a good scoop.

      True but if you watch this video you're probably still learning the trick

    • @rhythmiknoise
      @rhythmiknoise ปีที่แล้ว +10

      My tres are like from A to like D or E😂 working on that though you gotta somehow press (pop) and scoop down with a very slight angle but don’t just scoop the back foot back hard or it will fly forward

    • @theskateboardfan
      @theskateboardfan ปีที่แล้ว +9

      in order to keep a Tre flip on a straight line you have to turn heel side to counter the A to B movement. But yes beginners do more of an A to B jump. As you get better you learn to turn your board towards your heel side to keep them in a line. This is why Tre flip to front nose grind works well. With Tre flip to back nose grind you have to go at a big angle.

    I wish someone told me about the A to B hack sooner but I had to figure it out on my own. Once I started doing that I started catching my Tre's and landing them consistently.
    Try it out! Also start doing body squats and calve raises, it will help you to pop your tricks higher. Wish I did them years sooner.

    I’ve been doing tres for a while now it’s super important to have lots of weight and pressure on ur back right wheel so the board pressure scoops. Also try not to jump from A to B, try to keep it under you ( scoop inward more than back) so you prevent any bad scooping habits in the future.

      the scooping inward is the LITERALLY BEST tip for treflips, just not a single mfer in these youtube vids ever tell it. So every beginner tre is either 2meters in front of u or behind ur back foot. Its crazy how i had to find that out by myself

    I get your approach but 360 flips are very different person to person. While they usually end up looking fairly similar once you're comfortable the learning stance can be super different depending on the person. If you jump too far over put you scoop foot closer to the point of the tail. Same goes for the opposite. If the board flips but it can't keep up with you then lean a little bit further back and focus more on putting you front foot down first. If you're throwing them out in front of you put your shoulders over your knees. The most useful tip I've ever heard over the years is to spread your feet when you go to land, like spread them (nose to tail) much wider than you think you should and that will help you not only stick them but keep from landing with your feet hugging the bolts or right in the center. Don't get discouraged, it takes a ton of energy to do them the wrong way so it can be super tiring to learn.
