I dont see why those fender mounts would need to be changed. The bumper cover doesnt attach to the mount at all.

I didn’t really show it that well in the video but the length of the mounts differ. This is important because at the bottom there is a ridge that the bumpers slide and clip into. The m sport bumper sits a little lower and therefore in would never slide into the non m sport mount. It would therefore allow the base of the bumper to flop around like an old JDM car

@@dariusGarage Ah, got it. Thank you very much! I just ordered those 3 mounts, I bought a used Msport Bumper for my 13 650ix. Paint shop should be done with it next week, and I would have hated to find out I really needed those mounts with my bumper off. Thanks again.

Hey man, I'm planning to do the same thing to my 640i LCI. I have bought the side skirts, rear bumper + mounts and the front bumper, however I'm not sure what extra parts I need to buy in order to be able to fit the front bumper on the car. Can you please help me with a list of parts that I should buy (air ducts, shock absorber etc)? I'll really appreciate the help.

I have yet to do a front bumper conversion on my car so I can’t comment with any sense of certainty, your car being an LCI could mean more differences although many forum members say there aren’t any. I’ve
only worked on pre lci f06 and f13.
From a simple search on ECS Tuning this is what I’ve found to be different:
      Right fog grille: 51118050348
      Left fog grille: 51118050347
Middle lower grille: #51118050345 (w/o adaptive cruise)
      Metal bracket: 51118050367
(Part may be same as it’s apparently compatible with alpina which is non sport bumper, yet it’s labeled as an “M” part)
      Foam impact absorber: 51118050350
Half of the brake ducts that attach into the bumper (part number depends on night vision or not) (don’t have part number for either)
License plate brackets are also revised for the m sport
      The bumper itself
And you may want a few spare screws and clips as they’re bound to be rusty and break.
The kidney grilles are transferable as well as the belly pan from my understanding.
Please don’t rely solely on my information as it may be wrong. But these are the parts I would try to source if I was to attempt a retrofit on my f13.

@@112rorz that’s a different opinion! Most people prefer m sport including myself. Maybe I’m too young haha

@@dariusGarage I dunno I just like the roundness of the standard bumper. I think it makes it look like a proper roadster and wide

Someone local was parting out their car, front bumper was unfortunately snagged by someone else before I got there…
