Fair play that is one of the most beautiful cars around, absolutely stunning. Great job from the gents at Aston Martin. I don't care where it goes for it's maiden voyage, I'll be watching 👍
I think you need to do a road trip that pays tribute to the heritage of Aston and the DBS. Maybe travel to two dealerships in UK that are furthest apart?
Take it to Maranello and show Ferrari what a real custom interior should look like. My neighbor owns a 458 Speciale and his interior has been redone twice in 10 years and needs to be redone again. He bought the car when it was practically new and only had 200 miles on it. The original owner took it to car shows every weekend and occasionally to a restaurant but those were 2 miles away from him. But because he let so many people sit in it wearing jeans and the Florida sun, it was worn out. So they were redone when he bought it, then 4 years later it was redone again after 5,000 miles. Now at 23,000 miles, it has to be redone because the leather is stretched and the Alcantara is worn out and worn off
This has got to be the most gorgeous DBS I've ever seen. It's the kind of spec that I would personally do myself as I'm a sucker for cars with a deep green paint job and bronze/gold accents.
Probably the best looking DBS inside and outside! The attention to detail and decisions made on the colour of the interior. Amazing result James and Aston Martin Works!
Firstly James, don’t ever sell this car, it’s a masterpiece! Secondly, who detailed it?….its absolutely flawless. I’m sure it’s PPF’d but regardless, the paint clarity is insane. When the camera swoops over the body’s curves it’s like an ocean of emerald sparkles 😱
STUNNING!!! I love the OEM+ look of this car. This is a restoration done right. Seriously, when something like this is possible, why even buy a new car when you a give new life to a classic.
I am blown away by this transformation. I thought the original DBS you bought was quite good, but between yourself and the AM Works team, you've taken it to another level. Congrats! And most importantly - enjoy driving it!!!
I love the respect and love you have for Aston Martin, so many other channels over look them because they aren’t perhaps as expensive or crazy in design but there is nothing more classy and elegant as an Aston.
I genuinely believe this version of the DBS is the most beautifully designed car ever made. And this specific one, yours James, might just be the most beautiful of them all... Making it the actual most beautiful car in the world. What a project. What an ad for Aston Martin Works. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this car. What a car. What a car...
I like the way that at 16:00, James slightly corrects Paul in that "it wasn't me".. top moment, and also extols the huge talent of the fabricators, stitchers and assemblers...is a drive through France to Monaco too passé?
I was fortunate enough to have seen this in the flesh just yesterday, it looks absolutely stunning. For obvious reasons no photographs of the car because that's not what AM Works is about but considering the other cars on display in the workshop this one definitely stood out and was commented on by a number of admirers. Well done MrJWW, it's even more beautiful in the flesh and I for one am jealous (but in a good way).
Simply beautiful. This has been a dream car since watching Casino Royale and you've just taken it to another "out of this world" level. Congratulations. Love it.
You've taken the most beautiful grand tourer of the modern age and turned up the volume, has to be the best DBS out there, colour is next level, absolute class restoration by AM.
Looks absolutely gorgeous!! Can’t wait to see you road-trip in this and see that paint in natural sunlight! South of France seems fitting for this beauty!
I said it a few years ago when the car was first resprayed and I'll say it again... that is the most stunning looking DBS on the planet! This is my favorite Aston model and I hope to have one, one of these days. I'd want mine painted in silver or custom painted with this beautiful green color but with a tan interior.
I would like to see the chief waffler he brought out at the end pushed to his limits. A 12 hour discussion of the car and see if he runs out of things to say, I think he would be able to sustain.
Congratulations on taking what is my grail car to a whole new level. That Lennox green with the bronze accents and the new interior. Amazing. Loved the series of videos on the DBS.
The interior is fantastic. I did think “what’s the point?” until I saw it finished. That colour really shows the lines off. I could watch the Works team doing their thing all day!
Great color choices. Love the design of the 2nd Gen DBS. If you could bronze paint the projector light surrounds within the headlights, it would help tie the front end together more. The polished gear shifter is perfect.
The Car looked great with the new body colour. Now with the new interior complimenting the car, it looks outstanding. To see this car at shows would be a great testament to the craftsmen and women of the Company, we know as Aston Martin. Thanks for letting us join you on your journey that has been documented so well, Thank you
Just happened across this vid due to suggested and I’m so glad I found it. What an absolute glorious video. I am totally in love. You sir have done a better job than the last gen of the AMs with the merc interior. This is the way!
I really appreciate the quality and attention to detail, but one thing dates this car. Have you considered installing a late model Aston steering wheel?
A true one of one special creation, it is a testament to you that you have worked truly hard to put yourself in the position to be able to afford to create this special thing. Enjoy, sir bravo
A stunning restoration. I love it that James didn't just stay with the original colour scheme. Has to be the best looking DBS on the planet. At what cost?
What a beautiful remake of a gorgeous car! It would be fascinating to see how much it would cost for someone to replicate what you’ve done with this. This is a great representation of the “value being greater than the sum of all parts”.
Awesome awesome car james.Your vision & taste in cars is spot on & this is just the latest example of that. Can’t wait to see it driving somewhere sunny, that paint will look amazing
I cannot emphasize enough how good the editing, and (James bond) music choices throughout this video are 🫱🏻🫲🏼 the attention to detail in making a good video like this makes us appreciate the tasteful details on this car that much more! Favorite car channel by a mile!
James this is by far my most favourite "TH-camrs" car forget the Bugattis, Koniggseggs, Paganis ect this is a complete work of art I really hope I get to see it in person!!!
I do not want to wax cliche poetical.. but this feels quite like a "Bond" moment. Subtle, English, brilliant. The juxtaposition of the new interior and exterior details harmonious, elegant, now lets see the ride. Contrats!
You have done and immense job on it the dbs is absolutely gorgeous the colour and all your input has brought it out it is outstanding. Hats off to you for your input. Shame your input into it wasn't around 15 years ago.
I'm absolutely not a green color guy for a car but this color with that much flake in it is just drop down gorgeous. It really accentuate all the curves very prominent like you said, it looks so much better on this car than on the DBX. I do wonder though, what the total costs were, 2x the car value or even more? It's definitely one for in your forever garage!!
There’s no question it’s better than new, especially because Aston Martin has made massive improvements in terms of reliability in the past few years with the increased funding
Wow!! Just wow. What a fantastically interesting and informative journey this has been. Thanks for sharing it with us, James. To my eye, the DB9-era DBS - in either coupe or convertible form - is the best-looking car Aston's ever produced. There's not a bad angle on it. It's just an ageless design; you could pull a DBS up to any hotel or restaurant in the world and it would get parked out front - and that will be the case for as long as they exist. One absolutely genuine question, though: Why did you not swap out the amber front turn signal bulbs to either chrome amber bulbs or clear LED ones that light up amber? The fried egg look from the amber bulb in the reflector is the only flaw I see on your otherwise beautiful car. Cheers.
I love Aston Martins. From David Brown Tractors 🚜 to the beautiful machines they produce today. Your car just looks like it’s just come off the production line. I’m envious, again love it. Enjoy it.
A long road trip with dde that would be good and mayy be the bond journey where all the aston meet and particular palnce that shown in the movie and vist there that would be awesome
The Gaydon era cars are just timeless, this is stunning, the colour really suits the cars shape. My only downside are the wheels as I'm not keen on the painted accents however, as a package this is nigh on perfect. Please get the front end PPF'd at least before getting it out on the road.
Absolutely smashed this out the park as you would say James 😉 The music while showing all the dashboard/interior pieces being clicked back into place was really satisfying. This is the condition we wish we could all get our cars to be someday!
It's been enlightening to follow the journey of this DBS. Now, I daresay it's the most gorgeous example out there. My hat is off to everyone involved, yourself included, good sir. Lennox Green truly is something else - in the running for one of my favorite paint colors on _any_ car, ever - and the bronze accents really do elevate both the exterior and interior alike.
Few points: 1 Don't like that green. 2 Lovely interior. 3 Have you noticed the sage green Aston behind him. 4 Have you ever thought of selling double glazing cos you can 'alf spin a story
Shame the rear lights couldn’t be replaced with the black surround to tie it in with the anodised black chrome bits. Lovely rebuild. Love the colour and the bronze.
Absolutely gorgeous! This is testament to the attention to detail you show in all your videos. So glad you used the guys at the Jewellery Quarter as there’s some real skill there that is often overlooked! My only OCD gripe is that i wish you had done the shift pattern on the gear knob in a forged solid bronze inlay!
Love the car, but a few gold accents in the headlight unit would have elevated the look and tied it all together in the front. I feel the grey throws it off a bit.
That is the best Aston Martin spec I have seen....... Period! It is breathtakingly beautiful and the bronze contrasts work perfectly....... And the paint...........😍👌
I love what you have done with the DBS, especially the dark green exterior colour. However, alcantara does not wear well and any touch points, seat cushion / steering wheel / side bolsters will very soon start to look grubby and worn. So if you don't drive the car great, but if you do, alcantara (on touch points) is a poor choice.
Nicely done with the build. This doesn’t look like a 2008 DBS but it’s now so a modern looker. Shuttle changes but big impact, wish I could see the in person. I’m betting it looks 100 times better than my 4k tv with TH-cam compression. Really like the horizontal color strips on the front bumper.
The real question now… what to do and where to go for the first drive!?
Come to my house in Canada and we will go to the other side of the country and visit the DDE boys in BC.
Fair play that is one of the most beautiful cars around, absolutely stunning. Great job from the gents at Aston Martin. I don't care where it goes for it's maiden voyage, I'll be watching 👍
The real question is when you sorting out the wheel figment?
I think you need to do a road trip that pays tribute to the heritage of Aston and the DBS. Maybe travel to two dealerships in UK that are furthest apart?

Congratulations bro. The car is beautiful. What a perfect example of Aston Martin’s timeless design.
Thanks bro! Would be very cool to bring it state side some time! 😅 get some Cali sun on that paint!
This has got to be the most gorgeous DBS I've ever seen. It's the kind of spec that I would personally do myself as I'm a sucker for cars with a deep green paint job and bronze/gold accents.
🙏🏼
Probably the best looking DBS inside and outside! The attention to detail and decisions made on the colour of the interior. Amazing result James and Aston Martin Works!
Thanks Andrew! It’s been quite the journey but Aston Martin Works pulled out the stops on this one!
The DBS is possibly the best looking car that Aston have ever made and what you've done with this one is nothing short of spectacular!!
I've always loved Aston doors, not too showy but a nice angle. Great details, especially the painted line on the wing accent
Two (2) years has absolutely flown by, but the end result is absolutely stunning! Well done James (and A/M Works)!!
Thanks! It’s been a collaborative effort but Works did all the work!
@@MrJWW Works may have done the work..but had the initial vision, which they embraced and executed upon!
Keep up the great content!!
Absolutely beautiful, a testament to all of those involved, thanks for sharing this James, hope you enjoy her!
I love the James Bond style music playing in the background, during the sort of walk and talk handover process.
Hats off Mr. JWW well done sir
STUNNING!!! I love the OEM+ look of this car. This is a restoration done right. Seriously, when something like this is possible, why even buy a new car when you a give new life to a classic.
What a stunning automobile. Thank you for sharing the process and making the video.
Congratulations James. What a stunning machine!
I am blown away by this transformation. I thought the original DBS you bought was quite good, but between yourself and the AM Works team, you've taken it to another level. Congrats! And most importantly - enjoy driving it!!!
Beautiful! Now you have to drive to Switzerland and drive the Furka Pass like Sean Connery does in Goldfinger!
Looks absolutely gorgeous!! Can’t wait to see you road-trip in this and see that paint in natural sunlight! South of France seems fitting for this beauty!
I only have one question.. How much money did the restoration cost?? For some reason no one ever says it
I’m 42 and I’ve never wanted after a car as much as this one. Bravo James and the team at Works.
Thanks buddy 🙏🏼 a pleasure to share this journey, if you’re in the UK this is likely to be at some shows this year 😅
I think you’d be hard pressed to find another person on TH-cam with as much attention to detail and passion as James. It’s great to watch.
I have this car … but this is the best looking I have ever seen it. Well done mate
Looking forward to it. Had mine 15 years. A car I could never sell. Just wonderful.
Totally agree with the your take on the paint showing the lines of the car, DDE should wrap a car with this in mind
I said it a few years ago when the car was first resprayed and I'll say it again... that is the most stunning looking DBS on the planet! This is my favorite Aston model and I hope to have one, one of these days. I'd want mine painted in silver or custom painted with this beautiful green color but with a tan interior.
Pure art, this car is absolutely a peace of history for Aston matron and Mr. JWW you have it in your possession!!!
Like those original taillights better than new ones
I would like to see the chief waffler he brought out at the end pushed to his limits. A 12 hour discussion of the car and see if he runs out of things to say, I think he would be able to sustain.

The interior is fantastic. I did think “what’s the point?” until I saw it finished. That colour really shows the lines off. I could watch the Works team doing their thing all day!
I questioned it myself at one point 😂 but a classic case of becoming greeter than the sum of its parts 🙏🏼
How is Mr JWW not way over 1 mil subs? Whilst Shmee is so high and others are also so high this is pure gold Content.
Omg. Stunning. How much did the resto cost? I’d have added actual rear seats - but man what a perfect spec
Great color choices. Love the design of the 2nd Gen DBS. If you could bronze paint the projector light surrounds within the headlights, it would help tie the front end together more. The polished gear shifter is perfect.
One of my all time favorite cars, you did it justice. Truly a gorgeous car!
The DBS is truly a modern classic, an absolutely beautiful car. I love it.
The Car looked great with the new body colour. Now with the new interior complimenting the car, it looks outstanding. To see this car at shows would be a great testament to the craftsmen and women of the Company, we know as Aston Martin. It is ridiculously gorgeous and you’re truly one lucky man being the very owner. You can almost die for that gear shaft alone!
A stunning restoration. I love it that James didn't just stay with the original colour scheme. Has to be the best looking DBS on the planet. At what cost?
How about a road trip to the Furka Pass in the Swiss Alps? Goldfinger scene in an Aston and a stunning backdrop to match the looks of the car?
What a beautiful remake of a gorgeous car! It would be fascinating to see how much it would cost for someone to replicate what you’ve done with this. This is a great representation of the “value being greater than the sum of all parts”.

Brilliant JWW SPEC from Aston Martin Works. Huge thanks for Aston Martin allowing JWW to highlight the process.
James this is by far my most favourite "TH-camrs" car forget the Bugattis, Koniggseggs, Paganis ect this is a complete work of art I really hope I get to see it in person!!!
Thanks Paddy, I hope to take it to a few shows this year with some luck!
I do not want to wax cliche poetical.. but this feels quite like a "Bond" moment. Subtle, English, brilliant. The juxtaposition of the new interior and exterior details harmonious, elegant, now lets see the ride. Contrats!
Wow! Just incredible. An absolutely stunning example of what may be my favourite car of all time. Well, well done Aston Martin Works and Mr. JWW!!
OMG, words can't describe the attention to detail, can't wait to see that paint in person
Saw it in the flesh yesterday at Aston Works, stunning job! - what a gorgeous colour, and of course impeccable craftsmanship by AM works as always.

What a gorgeous machine
looks absolutely class!! ..... This needs to be at the Monte Carlo GP
Absolutely smashed this out the park as you would say James 😉 The music while showing all the dashboard/interior pieces being clicked back into place was really satisfying. This is the condition we wish we could all get our cars to be someday!
Fab job, colour and bronze. One of my all fav cars custom done to professional finish and attention to detail , so streamlined and timeless.
This car is stunning. A real masterpiece from Aston Martin and your choice of colors is gorgeous!!
Absolutely gorgeous, James. If I could custom build an Aston the way I want it, this would be it. Bravo!
Absolutely stunning and the craftsmanship is just on another level.
A drive to Motorworld in Munich and showcased to the world
Unbelievable. One of the best looking dbs or probably the best looking one out there. Congrats on the amazing work done to it and impeccable taste.
The DBS is my second favourite Aston (my all time favourite is the original Vanquish), and this is by far the best looking one out there!
Best Aston I’ve never seen in person. Congrats on the amazing build!
Thank you for sharing!! Love all your projects and the level of detail you go for!! Also love that you share how it's done!! Enjoy your machine!
I love the DBS regardless, but this has to now be one of the best out there, with a price to match I’m sure…
Definitely the best DBS in the world. Possibly, one of the best individual cars in the world.
That green is special. It really pops. WOW.
Absolutely love the green and bronze, the car looks superb!
that looks better than factory, the paint colour just sets the car off and the wheels are just awesome.
Wow..... Now that is one beautiful looking car!!!
Thanks so much 🙏🏼
Few points: 1 Don't like that green. 2 Lovely interior. 3 Have you noticed the sage green Aston behind him.
4 Have you ever thought of selling double glazing cos you can 'alf spin a story
Amazing transformation. Those last few bars of music were almost Bond!
Absolutely an amazing machine! Well done sir!
Shame the rear lights couldn’t be replaced with the black surround to tie it in with the anodised black chrome bits. Lovely rebuild. Love the colour and the bronze.
I have quantum silver and now it's "meh", because the depth on that paint is awesome.
Incredible successful transformation. Well done! A beauty to behold!
Stunning The Best Aston Martin DBS you will ever see Congrats everybody Invold . True Craftsmanship
I have to say……that is just effing beautiful, fabulous
Absolutely gorgeous! This is testament to the attention to detail you show in all your videos. So glad you used the guys at the Jewellery Quarter as there’s some real skill there that is often overlooked! My only OCD gripe is that i wish you had done the shift pattern on the gear knob in a forged solid bronze inlay!
Amazing restoration Congrats! Looks like a nice trip to Monica is on order.
Love the car, but a few gold accents in the headlight unit would have elevated the look and tied it all together in the front. I feel the grey throws it off a bit.
Its absolutely beautiful James congratulations and enjoy the new iteration, a great series to watch also!
One of the most beautiful Astons I've ever seen!! The speck is just mind blowing! Cheers, John.
You’re too kind, thanks John!
That paint is indeed utterly spectacular
Stunning outcome. A top nod to some old fashioned British craftsmanship. Great watch.
Thank you - a big thanks and congrats to everyone at Works!
Just pure perfection. A perfect road trip would be to take it to the south of France . Enjoy the luxury and the pure joy of the Aston Martin 👏👏👏👏👏
