Before there was Lil Wayne, there was Juvenile. ❤
Before there was juvenile there was BG
Before BG there was Mystikal @@TrewayneJohnson
@@TrewayneJohnson Master P as well
Even Lil Wayne said all the Hot Boys based their raps off of what Juve told them about and was rapping about. Juve the Great! He prophesied it.
@@TrewayneJohnsonJuve was way before BG. DJ Jimi’s “Where they At” came out in 1992. BG and wasn’t on the scene yet.
The cadence of "Ha" is legendary in itself. That flow had never been heard.
Next time ask him about the Vax song why he made it...
@@jimmiebazz2586 Oh yeah that's some bullsh*t, I don't co-sign that at all. It killed my mom
@royalqdash3299 so why are you giving juvi praise? Some of you people have no dignity, I swear!
@@thespeechboss I'm talking about hip hop dude. Covid didn't exist when Ha was released
I just played it twice
Juvy definetly a down south gem BIG FACTS
“Focus on Living instead of the memory when we leave ”…POWERFUL
Juvenile is the best rapper ever from Louisiana. Ha! Clap for Juvi ,👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Juvenile always reminded me of the boxer Roy Jones. Both had their own style in their genre. Even look like they could be brothers or cousins.
Being from NY i wasn't big into down south rap, but Juvie, Geto Boys and Outkast made me a believer that the south had something to say.
Thats a cold comparison bru
Yes to your comment. Juvenile favors the GuRu also
They can put a Juvenile song on to this day people get hype
I use to play him on purpose going through the chic fil a drive through.
All the girls would lose their chic fil composure and I got free food. Sadly chic fil a replace them.
JUVENILE THE BEST RAPPER OUT OF NEW ORLEANS .. AND 1 OF THE BEST RAPPERS IN HIP-HOP HISTORY ..
Hell nah. Juvi rap at a 6th grade level.
He definitely 1of the best rappers in New Orleans but u can't forget Soulja slim Mac and BG
After Lil Wayne yes he is gang im from heh
Faaaaaaaacts
Juvenile is and has always been one of my favorite rappers, top 5 actually!! His story telling is so visual you can see everything he was rapping about especially on Soulja Ragz, 400 Degreez, and Tha G Code
TOP 5
People sleep on his story telling for real
hes def top 5... him and eminem..
Fashooooooo!
After Me Against The World, 400 Degreez is the greatest album ever!
400 degreez definitely a classic.. no skips. Mannie Fresh gave him the easel to paint the pictures!
Thank you Juve for being you, having your own style and not doing what everybody else do. Keep ya golds, keep ya New Orleans accent, keep making dope ass music! My favorite hot boy fasho
Juvie has some great music, he has 1 of the best hip hop albums all time, and he has a song that transcends generations. He should definitely be somewhere in that top 50.
The legendary Willie D and Juvenile. Yes Sir Let's Goooo!!!!!! Thank y'all Brothers for this classic
😮I can't stop smiling 😁 That's the guy there . Much love More respect for both you fellas ❤
Juve definitely belongs on a 50 list...him and B.G. made cash money and I'm from Ohio listening to Juve and BG in late 90s and he was cold then UNLV and other groups at time I agree with numbers, was you platinum, was you on billboard I agree 💯

With that being said eventually one generation has to take a stand to stop the chaos or dysfunction otherwise the cycle just continues...💯
Great interview Juvie and Willie D...
They hate to give the south credit even we been running the game for 30 years
The south gets plenty of credit unless you’re talking about the east coast specifically and if you are that’s to be expected the east ain’t gon show too much love for the south or west and the south ain’t going out they way to praise the East either so watchu saying??
Hip Hop IS THE SOUTH! Everybody originated in the South and migrated! We are all from Mississippi, Georgia, Virginia, Texas and Florida!!
And then you woke up from your fantasy
400 DEGREEZ MY SECOND BEST RAP ALBUM OF ALL TIME
You definitely have me thinking about top 2-3 album of all time
Juvenile and BG is in my top 10 of all time
I believe Juve’s point about age, when and where you grew up mattering. I’m from Chicago but my HS years? Juve ruled. If I were from the south, he’d probably be near the top 5. We do need to know who made these lists and their agenda/affiliations if any. He’s definitely top 10 period though.
Juvenile. To me is this. The voice is dope. & the way he explains in his raps about being in the projects (magnolia). Every time I heard his early albums. Solja rags - juve tha great. It felt like I was right there in the projects. That says a lot about an artist how he paints a picture of the track as a visual in your head.
@@mofo4whatTop 50, maybe.
Juve need his own podcast
Dope conversation from the Big Homie and my NOLA Homie ❤❤❤
juvie in my top 5 dead or alive. i bought 400 degreez 3 times. twice on cd once on cassette.

Willie D is Willie D. If the chemistry is there with the guest, the interview flows accordingly. When it ain't, take what you get! Love Willie D on every episode. 💯💥
Juve been him since 1997 really before that but 1997 souja rag dropped... one of the greatest albums period of any genre..

Dope interview
It's world war 3 and i need some new stars, better tighten up your act we bout to get loose dog. Excellent story teller. Growing up in Parkside Projects in Detroit and listening to this made me realize all project kids are a like everywhere. Huge Juvenile fan. I agree with him 1000 percent..
I always wish I had a chance to tell Juve how underrated of a storyteller he is - especially in those first few Cash Money albums. When ppl mention storytelling in hip hop they definitely gotta mention Juve.
Dope Show. !
Really good job Willie seems like you and Juve was just chopping it up like two boys talking
Thank u Willie D for this interview with juvenile
400 Degreez top 10 album for me. You can play the whole thing with no skips!
“Gone Ride With Me” is my fav song on the album. I’ve played that song on repeat, collectively over 5000 times
St. Louis went CRAAAAAZY when Juvie first came out
It's ya boa, Juvie!!!!!!!!!!!
Being myself was a good album, tracks like 'betcha 20 dollars, pxxxx ass nxxxx, conversation with the man'.
Ghetto Children changed my life when I heard it. Juve is a true ARTIST! This made wanna rapper. This man created the biggest ghetto song of all-time!

Smart move using the word "conversations".
When a guest has to struggle to respond to somethin'! 😄😄😄
I would just start interviewing the host!
Great interview, convo and lecture nonetheless! 💪🏾💪🏾
Juve The Great. We appreciate Wayne. But Juve been the man in the deep south. A true bounce artist that elevated to one of the all time greats.
JUVE💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥A KING IN THE SOUTH, WILLIE D THANK YOU FOR THESE GREAT INTERVIEWS, YOUR SHOW IS ONE OF THE GREATEST EVER THANK YOU BROTHER❤
Don't talk about Lebron having more points than Jordan and not mention that Lebron has played almost 500 more games than Jordan. Let's keep it a buck!
FACTS
And it still took a while before lebron passed him in shot attempts
Lebron ain't got that dog in him. You seen him struggle against A.I., and even down the road bron got wade and Rose embarrassed them both
What about the dunking trophy Dominique won but because it was in Chicago they gave it to Jordan and he hating on zeek saying if zeek was on the dream team he would not play like a spoil brat having their way like he did in the NBA just thinking one example when they played Seattle in the playoffs if they came near him they called foul but he could foul them and nothing would be called so Seattle played the refs also and you know how that goes 🤔...
@@jimmiebazz2586 jordan winning that dunking competition is on the judges, MJ had nothing to do with that. I don't even know why you brought that up. Plus homie is talking about points not CHARACTER. If we compare character, LeBron by far is the worst. LeBron got drafted straight out of high-school, back in the 80s in Jordans era the NBA did not draft players straight out of high-school. If they have drafted MJ straight from high-school NOBODY would catch up to Jordan's points.
Willie Dee finally got Juvenile "Ha" ✊🏿👑💯🔥
Juvey was my favorite out the group he was more versatile at that time u ask me he was one of the best out of Louisiana and at the south at the moment.
his 1995 first album was not trash. it actuall was one of the best southern album i heard. you got a mix of lousiana bounce music. west coast dr dre sound. reggae.atl dance music, gangsta rap. he hid his accent and was force to step up his lyrical game and rap about concious hood stuff.
Juve and Willie D two wise men talking these I grew up listening to these two dudes bounce for the juvenile was one of the very first bounce songs project bounce Willie D controversial
These two dudes made real music and like Willie D said " some people to real for this world" in my eyes he one of them
MJ has that Software inside Attack Dog!
Juvie is a real one definitely look out for his people. Salute to a legend
I open up for juvenile bac n dayz he came to club no security got drunk ass hell chilling with everybody down to earth
Greetings from Cincinnati
THIS THE ONE
400 degrees was my big brother first cd mine was nelly country grammar. When music was music.
Salute Juvie!! Uncle Will we need u on Drink Champs!!
Willie D havein fun tha smile telling it all I understand because everyone that is in Texas is out cousin fr that's why we so close but people around my way would only know round
Love my Houston Texas family From the Skinner family ❤
Dam our roots run deep
Bump “the list.” The streetz, the culture, and the numbers vouch for Juve and Willie D!💯🫡
Juve lo key funny as h🤣 Great interview D🤙🏾🤟🏾💪🏾
I’m from New Orleans and my wife still don’t understand why I cuss so much and it really doesn’t be about nothing. So when I take her to my city she see all of these bad mouth people plus my mom just letting it loose. So now I’m a bit more conscious about my language because my way is not her way so I have to respect our home. But don’t get me fired up 🔥
Love it, from L.A.! I feel you. I say it how I see and feel it, and so did my family but for those attempting to be "religious." It's cool that you're respecting your home though. My love says the same about me, and I'm trying to be more conscious of cursing. He says he likes it, and thinks it's funny, but I think he's secretly like 😳.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
juvenile always been my goat I use to rap like juvenile dressed like the hot boys come on dawg
Face is my all time favorite of all time. Not just from his old music but from EVERY album thus far. From his last album to his first album and everything in between. To me, he has the greatest catalog. Best rap group. Geto Boys
I tell people like this Wayne was/is the biggest Cash Money artist ever but Juvie & BG are my favorites and I prefer 400 Degrees and Chopper City in the Ghetto to any Wayne album.
First off I love the N.O. Been visiting there every year for the last couple of years. Secondly, I remember David Banner saying that juvie style reminds him of an uncle or elder that sit on the porch with you and give you game. And he was spot on with that! Even in his younger years he was young with a og voice and delivery. He one of my favorites from the south.
Juveeeee!! 💚💚🎯🔥🔥🔥😂😂😂✊🏾 & Aubrey Francis 2 solid guys...Absolutely luv them🎯
Salute to Juve for paying Homage to Willie D Double Salute to them Both 🫡💯💥
My top two from cash money Juvenile and BG in that order! Hits
Willie you hell at 50:11 😂😂😂
Slow Motion! 🔥❤️🙏🏾👏🏾✊🏾
Juvie is right. Geto Boys were our NWA in Texas and Louisiana
Willie D seems like the personality & one with history to host all things music
Like his song , Juvie is the m-t-a-u-k- ... At the top of the list ✊🏾
mc search was on warlock....i remembered the logo
