Hello Haiying how are you? I'm sick with a bad flu but getting well! I wanted to comment before I watched- the title of this video is very moving and true. Just only today I spoke out the truth out loud the problem, and it became alive and less heavy than it was sitting in my mind like a rock a big Boulder heavy. I'll watch now. What a great story. I’m proud of you too! It sounds like you had to step outside of your comfort zone and doing so made a real difference.
I struggle with this sort of thing too, and something I’ve learned is that voicing a concern in a respectful way while brainstorming possible solutions is completely okay! And it’s encouraged.
If someone doesn’t know about a problem, they can’t possibly hope to fix it

Cultural training sounds like a great initiative! I live in Denmark and we have this idea about ourselves that we are all a part of one homogeneous culture. So we have a tendency to forget the practical issues with different cultures clashing.

I love this story. I'm so proud of you for standing up and using courage to speak your mind. I love that you referred to yourself as an elastic person. That's a great way to describe someone who is versatile and can handle being stretched too thin by obligation. I'm glad you overcame yourself. Sometimes we are the ones in our own way.
