Before we came to Central America the rule we heard over and over again was don't drive at night. We are driving our home, we don't know the roads, there might be obstacles, animals, bad roads or pot holes. There's also a fear that people up to no good come out at night. So, the rule is that you get to camp before sunset to keep your home on wheels safe for another day!

I don't know about the weather in March but I think a week is a great amount of time to explore. We stayed for a month and still didn't see everything!!!
