Small error. Toonami does not have a different owner. It is still has the same owner and is still a block on Cartoon Network in a lot of areas. Depending on Toonami's popularity and demand in each area Cartoon Network spun it off as a separate channel. When Toonami block stopped Cartoon Network was undergoing some restructuring where they miscalculated Toonami's popularity and shut it down. It was shutdown in 2008 and then was revived in 2012 . Not sure why the block was not relaunched in India when the separate channel didn't work out. Everywhere else it was relaunched as a block in Cartoon Network. Probably mismanagement by Cartoon Network India miscalculating the popularity of the Toonami block similar to what Sony India did with Animax India.
1) Pokemon Journeys hindi episodes on TH-cam (Episode 1 - 50M views).
2) DBS on Cartoon Network India (Great TRP).
3) Naruto Promos being shown on Sony Yay!
4) Many anime movies released in India in the past 1 year. Recently released Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie is a huge success. DBS movie to be released next month.
5) Crunchyroll released hindi dubs and slashed prices by around 90%.
6) Muse India official TH-cam channel launched.
The past year has been great for Anime fans in India. Hope we keep hearing good news like these 🔥🔥.

Sonu Sonu Toonami was first a cartoon network usa block which aired anime and action animated series from 1998 to 2003 but in 2004 toonami became a Saturday evening block that aired naruto, dbgt etc and toonami usa got cancelled in 2008 but in 2012 toonami returned on adult swim (late night counterpart of cartoon network which airs shows for adults) on Saturdays where it still airs anime and cn india 's toonami block was a weekday afternoon block that aired dbz, Max Steel, Pokemon, digimon, Beyblade, duel masters, capeta, caradaptors, transformers armada, energon, cybertron, naruto, bakugan, Batman, justice league and naruto from 2001 to 2008 and original dragon ball was also aired in 2008 and Dbz kai was also aired in 2012 you can find dbz Kai's hindi dub on my channel

Dragon ball also broadcast in hindi in around 1995-1999. It was among the first TV shows on Cartoon network India along with tintin. It used to broadcast at around 10pm-11pm. You won't find this information anywhere. Only 90's kids like me whose life revolved around cartoon network and Goku can tell you.
i remember that...toonami bring shows like...Beyblade, naruto,Digimon, Pokémon, dragon ball Z,Dual masters,Bakugaan for 5 pm to 9 pm on CN...Thanks...tonami to make our childhood full of memorable....
I remember in 2001 they on cartoon network's toonami weekend block. They advertised for the first time in indian televisions. That was the first time. Saiyan saga to ginyu saga in good old ocean funimation uk dub. Then they stopped. Basically it paused my life at that point making me go crazy over it since it was blocked for the next decade. Normally I would finish a show and move to the next. But this stuffed.
And I only interested in classics not everything specifically Dragon ball z in the dragon ball series. I like to only watch the best classics like Pokemon, yu yu hakusho, Attack on Titan, OPM, demon slayer, Halo, gundam to name a few for example.
But this 2002 block stuffed me up.
After watching in the funimation old dub. The new dub in English, tamil or Hindi dub was just feeling worst for me.

In 2016 I losed my full life hope and I am start thinking about about suicide and bad things after I watched dbz in TV than this anime gives me new satisfaction and this anime taught me what is anime and now I am a Indian otaku and I watched more than 50 anime but dbz is my favorite heart will never stop for you goku

I used to watch dragon Ball and dragon Ball z wen I was in 2nd standard it didn't run for a long time on tv. I still remember wen I used to watch dragon Ball z intro wen I was a kid wen I was alone at home. The intro was so scary for me at that time . I used to feel so scared seeing the intro 😂😂😂 but still I used to watch. But now I don't feel scared seeing that intro. Good old memories. But I used to watch it in 2010 not in 2001. Even Ben 10 alien force and ultimate alien and Beyblade metal fusion and Pokemon.
