    I bought that hoodie last year and loved it… you can’t beat the price, and they’re cheap when they’re on sale.
    I through some layers on underneath and hand warms… I sat in 20-27 degree weather for hours and it was a life saver.

    Another great review Mike. These have helped me make some purchases to build out my layering system to take me from early season all the way through late season In NC. DOL.

    What do you think about the redhead coveralls in true timber? I purchased them 3 years ago tried it on at bass pro and put it in a scent free bag in my shed. Never wore it because I was hunting in Sitka fanatic bibs and stratus jacket in late season. I completely forgot about it until one day in the shed i opened the bag and saw it. Now I have to make a decision on selling it or using it. It’s hard to not use the expensive Sitka.

      Sorry. I haven’t tried those, so I couldn’t tell you. I doubt those coveralls are going to be better than the Fanatic stuff you have.

    Finally more reviews. Even though I pretty much have a full Sitka setup I love o watch these. I am really thinking about trying Asia stuff. I really like the camo I feel like it would work great in the northeast.

      I have 3 different Asio videos coming in the next week or so. I have used it a lot this season because of a few of the newer items they have released. I think the camo is great for tree stand hunting. Thanks!

    I got a midnight zip up hoodie. They have these for around 20 bucks currently. I prefer a zip hoodie for a bit more temp regulation. I got a couple of the ball caps, too. 3.99 to 5.99 or so on sale, too.

      @@byerenny that would help with that. It really depends what you want to use it for. Thanks.

      Won't be for hunting; too physical for my tastes these days. Haha
      Mostly just use it as a running into town jacket vs having to bring out some heavy coat. Coupled with a Huntworth beanie and I should be good.
      Although I wish it had a chest pocket. The one 'flaw' but I say that about 98% of hoodies.

    I just discovered your channel, and I’m excited to dive into more of your videos and learn as much as I can! I live in Wisconsin, and I’m looking for recommendations on clothing for mid- to late-season bow hunting. Specifically, I’m interested in gear that can handle freezing temperatures and even below-zero weather. Could you suggest some budget-friendly options, as well as slightly higher-end brands and clothing items that you think are worth the investment?

      To branch off of my last comment, the “best” clothing brands I am seeing is Sitka and Kuiu. Is that correct and any other recommendations?

    • @theeverydaybowhunter
      @theeverydaybowhunter  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sitka, KUIU, First Lite are your higher tier. I consider Asio to be a great bow hunting specific brand, and then there are great value brands in True Timber and Huntworth. There are others, but these are the ones I’ve tested.

      Look in the description here. I recommend the Pulse Spikecave Performance Pants with a base layer. I have only tested those and the Down over pants by TT.

    What would you reccomend brand wise and actual peice wise to stay warm from mid November throughout the rest of the season, ive got early season system only right now and its good to mid to upper 50s im located in south west tennessee and on a tight budget of roughly 200$

      The Saskatoon line from Huntworth is really good and will get you in the ballpark (right now due to sales). You will still need good baselayers. The TT High Pile Fleece Hoodie I talk about here, along with their Truesuede Down Parka is really warm. I’ve only tested the Pulse Spikecave Performance pants (a mid season pant)and their down over pants together, but that would probably be outside your budget. They have other pants, I just haven’t tested them.

      @theeverydaybowhunter I've got merino base layers. I been looking at the true timber line through your link, do you think that brand can keep me warm for my budget? I'm thinking a jacket, pant, and hoodie. I have everything else. The prices look amazing but I've bought several cheap systems before and still get cold so I'm a bit concerned with thay

    • @theeverydaybowhunter
      @theeverydaybowhunter  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it will keep you warm. The hoodie by itself is going to do a lot for you, I was surprised by how warm it was.

    • @CodyVinson
      @CodyVinson หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @theeverydaybowhunter 20 degrees is very cold here I'd say somthing between mid 20s at day break to mid 50s temp range, I'd say average is mid 30s for low and mid 50s for high is what our temps look like from now through rest of the season and you get the occasional few days here and there that gets real cold.

    • @theeverydaybowhunter
      @theeverydaybowhunter  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do most of my hunting in Pennsylvania. It can get really cold here, so I’m not too far from you on temps. With your budget, there’s not many options other than this that will keep you warm in those temperatures. But, I can only go by what I’ve tested.

    Is that Hoodie windproof/ wind -resistant ?

    • @theeverydaybowhunter
      @theeverydaybowhunter  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They don't advertise it as being either, but from what I experienced, it is highly wind resistant. The truesuede outer shell combined with the thick fleece interior does it. I was in pretty good winds on a cold morning and never thought about it. It retains heat very well and I think its wind resistance is a good reason why.
