Not many would say this but Heenan was a really good worker in the ring. Bobby patterned himself to Ray Stevens' bump-style and worked almost as good as Stevens.
If Bobby Heenan would be in his prime today, he could have made it to Hollywood and made comedies or lead his own sitcomb. He was that funny and talented

That's blasphemy, to basically call Nick Bockwinkle mediocre. He was Flair, but with class, and more ability. He was great in the ring, on the mic, had a great look, personality, charisma, and believability. There's jealousy there from Greg, who was a great highflyer, but that's it.

One could argue that Bobby Heenan was the greatest all-around performer in pro wrestling history. There was nothing the guy didn't excel at. He was a great wrestler, a great manager, and a great commentator. He even did production work while he was in the WWF. I can't think of another person in pro wrestling who was just great at every single aspect of it that he tried the way Bobby was.

There wasn't always a clear difference between Good Nick and Bad Nick, unless Heenan was there. Then you KNEW he was a dirty SOB and deserved the beating you'd pay to see.

A Trench Coat was put on a coat rack with a hat on top as part of the interview with Guy Mitchell ( Assassin ) cutting the promo for Louisville, KY that evening.

He was definitely a great carnie

Nick was much better than "OK" on the interview. Nick was great on the stick solo. Nick and Bobby together were pure magic though.
The "OK" caught me off guard too. Nick had the upper level vocabulary which stood out in his interviews.

BOBBY "THE BRAIN" HEENAN is the GOAT MANAGER of PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING 🐐
Heenan is my fav heel in wrestling.
I would agree.... Heenan is the #1 manager ever... and I guess ever will be since managers are kind of a lost art.
Bockwinkle was a master on the Microphone! Greg was the one that was ok.
Greg is probably still a little irked that he couldn't defeat Nick for the title.

Bobby the brain was just a genius when came to wrestling
He ranks much higher as a manager than Greg did as a wrestler.

Heenan was awesome . Heenan and Sherri are the greatest ever in my opinion
Greg, what are your memories of being at Wharton Field House in Moline, IL... and even being at Palmer Field House in Davenport, IA
Wasn't his uncle the promoter in Moline?
Bobby and Jimmy Hart are irreplaceable.
