These guys are the perfect synthesis of bluegrass and contemporary classical, with the feel of a modern indie group.
I could watch Chris Thile play forever. You can just see how much he loves playing music. It's written all over him. He's practically beaming.
I watched the documentary "how to grow a band" Amazing, anyone who is listening to this music and has not seen that should go watch it. Beautiful music and really cool people!
I want Chris to be my friend. His personality literally radiates in his playing and facial expressions. Just in everything he does.
Sounds EXACTLY like the CD. These guys are insanely talented.
They are so extremely talented. It sounds just like the recording. They are just such a good group.
"It be against the law...even in Utah!" HAHAHA! LOVE IT! :-D

still kinda geeking out over meeting these guys at Mountainstage last month! geniuses.

Just found these guys and this song made me smile the whole time, just the tune of it made me happy :)
In total sincerity- I am so happy for you! You have SO MUCH good music to discover yet by the Punch Brothers, Chris Thile, Nickel Creek and other associated acts with each of these insanely talented artists. Next: Movement and Location by Punch Brothers
amazing musicians, amazing songwriting, and amazing good time vibe. love it, reminds me a bit of the spike era costello (sans horns)

Paul, the bassist, is so incredibly handsome!
when I saw them in Detroit, him and Paul went for a run. He's working out I s'pose.

after combinating with michael daves i did not expected something will ever beat that and it did
That fiddle makes this song
This sounds like something out of a Tim Burton stop motion horror, comedy movie!
Chris Thile is just as good live if not better than the recording itself
sounds just like the studio version.
3:45!
OMG ITS RYAN GOSLING ON THE VIOLIN.
i love how the banjo guy seems so over chris's bullshit but you can tell just barely that it's just his face
they sound like the lost fingers kindof
Noam's been losing weight. Looks good.
These guys look really weird when they play...but god damn are they good
