  • Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, and Kevin Wildes discuss the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-16 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 13. Nick weighs in on Tom Brady’s performance vs. the Saints and explains Brady and the Bucs are guaranteed to be in the playoffs after the win. Broussard explains the Bucs should have lost the game but despite the odds came away with a win. The group then discuss the NFC playoff picture and what quarterback they would want on their team to lead a game winning drive.

    The key to the Bucs’ offense improving is there O-line getting healthy. Their center Ryan Jensen is expected to return towards the end of the season. Tristian Wirfs’ injury wasn’t a season ender and will also make his return. If they have the ability to give Brady just a little bit more time in the pocket, Bucs can be dangerous in the playoffs.

      I think that is why Nick is so frustrated. He despises Brady so him even having a chance to make the playoffs irks him, lol. The NFC had a chance to put the Bucs away for good and they choked. Now Brady gets to face a Niner team with a rook QB. As a Niner fan, i think the defense will get to Brady but this is Tom friggen Brady. A healthy oline and good defense, they have just as good a chance as anyone in the NFC to win it all IMO.

      Lol Nick Wrong back at it! Dude really said he’d have Mahomes over Brady in a clutch drive this year! Let’s not all forget when Mahomes had a chance to tie the game or take the lead he choked against the Colts, then the Bills, and now against the Bengals! While Brady against the Packers had an insane drive that would’ve sent it to Ot had the Buccs not fkd up by having a delay of game! Then we saw Brady come through against the Rams and Saints! Brady has been the best clutch player in the league STILL! While some I would say are questioning wether Mahomes is “him” in those clutch moments because how many times will I see him sell or choke when he has the chance to do something late in the game! He’s starting to trend towards a “choker!” Mahomes is just another Aaron Rodgers! Great stats and plays well for 3 quarters but when he actually needs to do something, what do you know, he ends up shrinking and melting down!

      @@Grievous_ Brady coming in Clutch requires the team to play bad for most of the game whereas mahomo generally does that in games where they're sitting in a pretty good position for most of it. Technically speaking your heart would be less in your throat going with Kermit the quarterback than you would Brady. NOW, if we're talking a full strength nobody on IR Bucs? TB12 every single day of the week, but the discussion was in the context of this season specifically which the Bucs have literally had enough players on IR to form a full team(minus a QB obviously)

How do you run out of bounds short of a first down, then throw it on 3rd and 1, and then punt while on the Bucs side of the field? Unconscionable clock management. Brady won with 3 seconds to spare. The Saints really blew it last night.

    • @Milan_N13
      @Milan_N13 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      But that happens for a reason when its clutch time every team starts to mess up against Brady they mess up their offense and timeouts because they are thinking too much about how much time they will give Brady and they mess up their defense because they are too scared of him this includes coaches and players + Brady's teammates play better at the clutch because they believe that they will win with him. This is starting to happen to Mahomes also except against the Bengals.

Brady is still playing comparable football to the way he played at his peak. That's because he's seen it before his very eyes twice when Brady bounced Mahomes and KC in AFC chip and then super bow. Both those years 2018 and 2020 KC was 100% the better team in the regular reason and they were favored in both postseason games. However when it comes to Brady in the playoffs all bets are off and he's the one dude in sports you are foolish to bet against. Especially in single elimination, this isn't a seven game series.

    The Bucs may not win the superbowl this year, but the NFC is WIDE open for them to get there if there offense gets to even 50% of what it was in 2020. and ON PAPER they have every thing they need to do that. obviously the o line is very banged up and with brady’s age + never having been a mobile guy it makes that much harder but i could see it happening, it cannot be ruled out. And if they get to the superbowl brady’s reputation and the bucs defense give them a chance against anyone, especially the chiefs because brady is like mahomes and reids boogey man
