One night I decided to show this to my friends, thinking they would love it like I do. At the end of the movie they could not stop saying how much they hated it, and how pointless of a movie it was. After that, I realized that only certain people will be able to connect with this movie like I did. The way it is so perfectly strung together with incredible scenes, flawless acting, an intricate storyline, and a beautiful soundtrack. Truly an amazing film.
just went through something similar with my family... definitely learned it's best not to waste such films on just anyone. Only a select few will resonate, and understand, the startling depth and divinity that lays dormant within that screen.

This movie is the real proof that the media is a real crap. He's one of the most underestimated movie ever seen by a lot of people who'll be agree to give it a million of oscar. Sorry for my english, I'm french
doesn't matter about your english when you speak such truth! Couldn't agree more my friend, the general public is clearly not at a deep or philospopical enough level of consiousness to full grasp or even partly understand this masterpiece.
These pieces dont have to deal with the idea of mortality - they're simply eternal. So intense at every moment, that gives the shivers. Utterly brilliant
the way i miss this movie is none to second.art is always alive.that means people change over the time and aquire novel perceptions.and with every new insight that you gain , you will have a new interpretation for this movie.during 14 years i watched it over 50 times and everytime this was new for me.
This is one Films Amazing, is one invitation to the reflection of out live.

@FreedomEagles100 critics mainly destroyed the film...i'm glad it didn't win any mainstream award,Aronovsky touched the people and so di Clint Mansell.....the people love this film.
I read many of the reviews, it was very clear to me that most of the critics simply failed to understand the deeper meaning and messages of the movie, and consequently, hated on the movie. Because inevitably as human beings, you will always fear what you don't understand. The movie is a masterpiece for those who can comprehend it, and the rest, well, they can stick to transformers for all we care, their loss, not ours.
