That Pedal sounds sick, it sounds as good as the 33 Fredrik Thordendal pedal. It also sounds better to me than the Precision Drive pedal to me, but that pedal is still good. Finally a good boost and drive pedal that has a middle knob. I wish more pedals had a middle/warmth knob put on them.
Seems like it doesnt solve the main problem with the original pedal though, that we would want a boost to accompany the delay/reverb side to give a lead boost. Adding a boost where there is already an overdrive seems unnecessary.
I think what you're hearing is his mic picking up the string noise a tad more because of the volume and gain being a bit lower and less bright than in other parts of the video.
yeah.. sounds like there's some blend knob somewhere that's not set quite right.. and way more pronounced than just mic picking string noise.. kind of sounds like when you blend guitar DI and amp sound together
If you are using the pedal as a preamp, shouldn't it be plugged in the FX return and not the clean channel, which is its own preamp and adds its own colour???
The term "pre-amp" has had many uses in the context of pedals. There's the one's you're thinking of, which are essentially replacements for an amp's existing pre-amp circuit. The term has also been used to mean a pedal that literally goes before your amp that's not necessarily an overdrive or distortion, which you might hear referred to as an EQ boost nowadays. Examples of the terminology being used in that context would be the Boss FA-1 FET Pre-Amp, TC Electronic Integrated Pre-Amp, and the DOD FX-10 Bi-FET Pre-Amp.
My only negative is the small size, which means the buttons are too close together. I WILL be hitting both buttons. That, or I will need to physically bend down, and hit the buttons BY HAND.
If it helps.. To visit Kyle Bull's channel about the full size "devil's triad" pedal. The discount code still works and it ran me around $275 after the discount compared to this pedal being $250 and the Devil's Triad adds reverb and delay while also having the boost/drive.

Y’all should quit over analyzing this stuff,it doesn’t take an engineering degree to figure this stuff out
@@tommilitello198LOL YOU SOUND LIKE MY NONEXISTENT WIFE. She's always right.

@@WilliamHaisch so you’re saying “one” is equal to “all”?

Nice but expensive pedal.
Build quality, brand name and artist commission costs money.
Too much for me too.
@@JohnWiku The quality is too much ? The brand is too much ? Or the Currency ? Or All of the above ?
I see the pedal not on the website from all pedal....also not the price 🤔
