the maverick was a good reliable car...i had a few and even took my drivers test in one,,my 70 maverick with a 170 and stick would always get 31.1/2 miles to the gallon
The narrator doesn't even know how to pronounce the names of these cars so what makes him an expert?I found out in the seventies that the car I hated the worse was the one I didn't have when I was walking every where I went.
I doubt the person who made this video even lived through the 1970s because most of these cars were not that bad, but most of the cars names are mispronounced there is more wrong with this video than I have time to type up.
A lot of people where just looking for a 4 door sedan car. Some of these Americans cars or all of them, would of been very good, If they would have bought European engines. Like the diesel engines perkins or Peugeot also petrol . British Layland engines diesel or petrol Hillman engines petrol. They where choices to buy good engines, and there where also the Japanese engines like Isuzu and Toyota as well, to put into the Americans vehicles.
The only people who didn't hate these cars were those who did not have a car at all but who would rather drive than walk.
I loved most of the cars on this list. I currently own a 75 El Camino. Sure most of them lacked power, but that's what engine swaps are for.
I don't know who critiques these cars, but the roads were filled with them. No car company's reputation was severely hurt by these cars.
i'd avoid all american cars from the '80 s up to today, shitty designs and very poor general quality.
this one reason people lacking car knowledge should stay away Gremlin in an 8 year run sold close to 1 MILLION UNITS
And didn't even mention the Gremlin X.
NHTSA , EPA .
The Chevrolet Monza Town Coupe was a Vega in Monte Carlo drag. 😅

The cordoba was a very successful car and had several different engine options. This is inaccurate.
And the world learned about fine Corinthian Leather.
This feels very a.i
