Great job man! I’m a TN dealer. I see A lot of Nissan products from this era at auction. You’ve got to be extremely careful with these cars because of the terribly unreliable CVT transmission that is in these automobiles. Sounds like you got a pretty good one though with the low miles. . And $5400 was a pretty good buy for somebody. Good quick flip
@@StaufferGarage nah give yourself some credit, business is business, you found an opportunity and you took it, good for you! And as always great video (edit: satisfying cleaning so good for me too! :D)!!!
@@Koltary sir what? Nissans are Russian roulette when it comes to transmission reliability. Their trucks seem to hold up. But their more affordable vehicles are a complete nightmare. I’ve owned them for a long time. I have Toyotas now. Best decision ever.
I'm curious how to tackle headliners. I can imagine in vehicles like this Rogue that are heavy smoker vehicles, the headliners are probably in bad shape. Thoughts?
You are by far my fav detailer! Thank you SO much for cleaning the pedals before doing the carpet. It is such a pet peeve to see the reverse and then placing a towel underneath the pedals to catch the dirty water. Why?!? I love that you pull out the seats and talked about saving your back When you're in your 20's it doesn't matter because your back doesn't hurt. But it will. This will help you save it for many more years I would think. I can't recall, did you do a bit of ASMR? If not, please do. Love hearing the pressure washer doing it's magic! Your the best. I always enjoy your thoroughness. 🚘🪣
yup, plastic was cooked after that one, in my personal experience there is no need to do steam on dashboard and trims, maybe only cupholders when its super sticky
I purchased a scion tc for 1500, after putting 700 dollars into it for parts and cleaning I sold it for 4500 profiting around 2k after tax/fees. I also purchase a landrover lr3 for 700 put 3500 into it and sold for 5500 profiting 1k after taxes and fees and also driving it for a little (including gas, insurance, etc I still made 1k)
There are always so many satisfying before/after moments in these details, but the bit where the word "ROGUE" instantaneously went from grungy and faded to bright white made me do a double-take (8:15).
Not sure about them but I do. I am a backyard mechanic so I can do most repairs myself and actually look for cars to flip that does have some issues like needing coils or a brake job just to get them cheaper. amazing how much markup they have on repairing vehicles that some rather sell them cheap to someone else like me than having the job done when they cannot do it themself and buy something else.
This is the kind of car I want but wouldn’t drive for fear of getting it wrecked or dirty. I love cars but I would be far too worried about my own skills to buy them. Still! Love how you do these restorations/ cleanings of them. My favorite part is the carpets 💖
@Bontras Snide the gavt that you are thinking that way is also a problem, you dont have to wreck your car, i been driving 10 years and i never been in an accident. And I drive 10+ hours a day because thats my job.
@@eln0n01, The fact that you are of the mindset that our experiences are the same and therefore that I am to be fixed poses an equal problem wherein we may be unable to find common ground. Just wondering if you ever remove the wheels so that you can clean the inside / reverse of the wheel, also do you ever do the inside of the bonnet / hood. I don’t necessarily mean cleaning the engine. 😮😊

Pretty sweet detail and flip! Definitely see how a steamer can make a job easier. Question. So once you’re done detailing, do you apply a fragrance or deodorizer?
Rogue's start having transmission issues around 80k to 110k! That year has major electrical issues with the back up Cam and radio. If it hasn't started YET. You may have got lucky and got one that very well maintained and cared for! Best of luck. And good job on the detailing!
