Steve was on the money in this episode. He picked up on all of the manipulation and seeds Walter is/has planted. Cant have Jesse still be involved with Andria, might risk the poisoning of Brock leaking out eventually, best for Jesse to stay away from them.

It absolutely makes sense to despise a character's evil actions yet be fascinated with that character's progression of evil. We even have an in-show "Call back reference" to this -- "I See You" S3E8 Hank gives Walt Jr. a book. Hank told Walter Jr. "It's about the agents who pursued Pablo Escobar." "Good guys never get ink like the bad guys do."
Yup, Steve you are totally on point with Walt planting his little seeds in everyone’s minds. But will he be happy when that garden grows?
Better Call Saul: I just started this show last week and am on the 8th episode. So far, just as good as Breaking Bad, but with a different flavor to it. Oh, and it takes place long before BB.

In my opinion I think that every episode of this whole series has been great. My favorite episode has to be the one were Walt let Jane die, its sad but it's because I think that was his full transition into Heisenberg.
Even the episode with the fly still had my full attention.
I can't wait till you get deeper into this season.

Skylar deserved to be called out for cheating, just saying. Walt did bad things but he didn't cheat on her.

I think walt told entirely the truth - he threw skylar under the bus but she actually does feel horrible because of ted - so he doesnt lie but pf course he leaves out the part where he is a drug dealer so he does manipulate marie

no it is not bad to love walt, he is the most interesting character on the show. and i think that's why vilains are the most interesring characters in most shows. they seem to get the better lines and
things to do.. so yes that's why the viewers gravitate to them love them or hate them they enjoy watching them on the screen. in real life as you say. that is a different answer.
I'm sympathetic to how and why Walt became what he became.
If Walt had actually killed Brock . I probably would hate him for real.
But with the situation Walt warned Jesse what Gus was doing. Jesse dIdn't want to hear it. Walt had to take the winning move(the Game of life).
I also think Walt cares for Jesse.. butt then I remember he's (spoiler warning) not a real person. 😂🖒
Better Call Saul is not a "lawyer" show. Imo. It's a breaking bad prequel (but not ..? It don't matter). It's an origin story basically for 2 bb characters.

Damm good call Steve about knowing Walt was going the Ted route with Marie! They leave the equipment up in the homes because the 'Vamanos Pest' termite employees take it down & repack it for Walt and Jesse. That part always confused me too, I always asked myself 'Why do they leave it up??' But again, your reactions make me feel very nostalgic of my first time watching this show. Every time I see this show, I don't understand how anyone can hate Skyler more than Walt.
I understand not liking her but hating her is too much
I don't like her, she chose to stay with Walt after he signed the divorce papers so anything after that is on her. He gave her what she wanted and she didn't follow through. It was her idea to launder money for Walt, Walt said he wasn't going to let her do that. Eventually when someone asks you 100 times you say yes, kind of like pure pressure

Don’t feel bad about enjoying Walt. We are all fascinated by well developed villains - Darth Vader. Michael Corleone. Cersei Lannister. The Joker. Gus Fring. They operate outside of what’s right, moral, ethical, what we know to be good. We are horrified by their actions while at the same time we are thrilled by their actions - how they are able to get away with these horrible actions... and when will they get their comeuppance. It’s just good storytelling.

I just didn't want to say out right that he is the bad guy because i didn't want to take that much of a position about his character before they have watched the entire season. After all, what if Walters Arc was supposed to have a turn around?
The whole alpha thing is not wrong or right. Being an Alpha has nothing to do with bad or good. It as a mental state, and many criminals who commit heinous crimes have that Alpha Mentality but that doesn't make them good people of course.
The word "Alpha" makes you think of masculinity for a good reason i guess, but in this case i was talking about his "I am the Boss and do what i want" mentality. Which as nothing to do with masculinity

Loving Bad Guys: totally fine. Just think Darth Vader, Hannibal Lector, Vincent & Jules from Pulp Fiction. And there are shelves of novels (Crime Fiction) that follow the Bad Guys and their schemes. BB is definitely heading into that territory. So many upcoming episodes would make great novels, let alone TV. So jealous you get to experience this for your first time!

@@DuoReacts I just watched your reaction on Breaking Bad. You were great in your analysis, except for a one thing, that I completely can't agree.
You were annoyed by Walter, and tried to defend Skyler. But Skyler is more hypocritical throughout the show, than Walter, and in the end Walter took responsibility for his actions, but Skyler continued to play victim card, while she wasn't a victim even a one bit, she was hurting Walter throughout the show much more than he ever did.
Skyler is the most hypocritical character in the show(, and Skyler is the most disgusting woman character after Lidia.
One more time: just because Walter became a true sociopath throughout the show, doesn't make Skyler any less horrible, disgusting, hypocritical person.
1) Skyler was flirting with her boss, when she knew that Walter was dying from cancer, when she knew that Walter wasn't in right state of mind, and suffered every day from chemotherapy. But, I get it, Walter lied to her. We can forgive her for that.
2) Skyler smoked when she was pregnant Holly. Was that for Holly? Or maybe for Walter Junior? Because many people says that everything Skyler does throughout the show is only for good of her kids. Do you know, that there are risks that baby can get cerebral palsy, if pregnant mother smokes?
It's interesting how much Skyler is responsible for Walter Junior straggling? If you even little bit put plane's crush on Walter, you should 100% blame Skyler for poor Junior.
3) Skyler cooked Ted's books before she knew that Walter was a criminal. She made her own crime to cook Ted's books, just because Ted said that he did all of that for his family, his people and his company. She liked Ted, she wanted to feel herself important, she became a criminal, after she said to Ted: "I will not report about it, but I will not help you". But it was her job to report about such things!!! And she decided to stay, and to do literally opposite things. She had no excuses, because Ted wasn't even related to her. Walter made his crimes for his family and for himself, but Skyler became accomplice for nobody, for a stranger, and for herself. She hided for her criminal boss two times more amount of money than Walter earned at that time.
3) When she discovered the truth, she kicked-out Walter from his own house, without even giving him opportunity to explain himself.
4) Walter a little bit played Skyler, when came back to the house, and explained that everything that he did was for his family, that he have done horrible things but with a good reasons and intentions, that he was out of the business already, that he loves her and kids. And Skyler wasn't worried about the danger, she didn't even think about it, at that time, she was worried that she lost some control for a seconds. So Skyler went to sleep with her criminal boss just to hurt Walter, and because she wanted Ted since episode 1 of season 2. Skyler said that to Walter in the most cold way, right after Walter just poured her his whole soul. It wasn't for protection of her children, because her lawyer said what Skyler should have done in that situation, go to cops. Even if Walter left the house, there wouldn't be more safe, because family was an pressure lever on Walter anyway.
But Skyler wasn't worried about the danger, she was worried about her control and revenge. So Skyler slept with Ted another couple of times, and she started to want Walter's money. She munipulated Walter by children (let him to take Holly), she looked on bag of money when Walter wasn't at home, and she wanted it so hard. Symbolically she put on green clothes after touching the "dirty" money with her own hands. She was in total shock and disappointment when she discovered that Walter already signed divorce papers and left the house. Because Skyler already had a plan as she told to her lawyer. She hoped that Walter will die because of cancer, and she could use that money the way she wants, and there will not be any danger.
5) Skyler munipulated Walter to paid Hank's medical bills, she didn't ask him about anything, while Walter could easily come with something much better than her "gambling story", she again played Walter. So she was ok, that Hank's medical bills will be paid by drug money. She even said to Walter that she thinks that Hank got shot because of Walter's activities. But she didn't went to the police even knowing that, because Walter was under her control.
6) Skyler wanted a murder of Jesse, even when Walter was against it, so she got Hank killed as much as Walter.
7) Skyler didn't tell even Walter Junior, that Walter never forced her to keep something in secret, she wanted Junior to hate Walter, while Walter throughout the whole show protected Skyler from Junior's judgement.
8)One more time, I don't say that Skyler is more evil than Walter, I say that Skyler is a bad person, and SKYLER is the most HYPOCRITICAL CHARACTER IN BREAKING BAD, because she never took responsibility for her actions! Jesse was person, that always took responsibility for his actions, and Walter took responsibility for his actions only in the end. But Skyler always played a victim card.

Oh and guys, if you’re gonna watch El Camino after watching the series, PLEASE do a reaction vid and not a review....there are some other reaction channels who have done a review and honestly, it kinda sucks, cause I (and I’ll just speak for myself☺️ don’t know how other people feel about it) really love watching people react to it, instead of just listening to what people think of it...
