What to do if Excitation port overlap? I am trying to design MIMO based on a halfwave inter-element distance and massive excitation port during simulation cause the problem. (excitation port X = 9.056 mm and halfwave = ~5.8mm) That option "allow excitation port overlapping" does not work or maybe I don't know how to use it correctly. Could You suggest something please? Thank You!
I was woundering if you help students by any chance? I have designed a 5g filter but im stuck at one point cant really obtain the required results. Do you think you will be to help me with it please ?
You can adjust antenna dimensions and array numbers according to your application. My video is just brute demonstration of capabilities of CST to array antenna.
When we increase the phase shift between the antennas, grating lobe is getting bigger. How can we overcome this problem? Should we get closer the antennas? Why this happens?
Thank you very much, This is two port antenna. So, wich applications we can using this kind of antenna operating at 5.8 GHz , I mean WIFI or 5G ? . But 5G operate at high frequency ( mm-wave) like 60 GHz. Please, if you can explain in comments a bit enough details for this antenna. Thank you very much & many thanks. BEST REGARS.
there are different frequency bands for 5G. They vary by different countries. This video just a tutorial about designing phased array antennas. You can design antennas in your particular frequency and can apply techniques described here without any problem. Regards.
Hey sir, i got a problem with how to reducing the backlobe of MIMO antenas. Can i have an advice? I was try to add the New materials but still not good
There is special taper distributions for setting sidelobe levels, using Taylor and Chebyschev polynomials. Unfortunately I can not give you exact solution for your problem.
@@maryamagha1557 Yes you can, but you will need to access CST via another tool, such as MATLAB, to change the amplitude and phase of the excitation in CST.

How to make phase shifter in schematic for phased array
You can design the SMA connector with 50 ohm impedance and coaxial feeder
of course. in my next videos I will design.
Is it possible to do this with an array, and a feeding network, fed from one coaxial cable point on the patch?
Yes it is possible. I am working on this project to show you.

Sir how to have the port information(in terms of S-parameters)for simultaneous multiple port excitation in cst?
Sir please request
Which parameters should be compared in microstrip patch antenna and phased arrya antenna
Please reply me sir😢
Do you have a step by step video on this?
Thank you sir, please can you help show us how to 'design mimo antenna for 5G application' using cst. hope to see your response sir.

Thank you so much..can we get direct output in CST from the file you attached??
what output do you want? You can directly simulate and get the result form the attached file.

Hi, what type of dielectric material did you use?
The FR-4 and Rogers family are the most common ones
@@fredfrancium Thank you for the answer, but my question is which one is used in the video?
@@mertcanaltikardesler2803 Based on color I think it should be FR-4
Hi sir , Nice video ..Besides the farfield pattern can we get the results for S-parameter ,Gain, Directivity Axial ratiofor two element array ?
Yes you can. If you simulate the full antenna you with monitoring options enabled you can find all the necesarry parameters.

By changing the magnitude and phase of the excitation you are applying beamforming. Do you want to apply a special beamforming algorithm?
