    13:13 I did it ! That should have been the thumbnail. I used a thin putty knife between engine and trans (Subaru in the rust belt) Was that intentional on the engine hoist ? Daylight start, finish at night ? That's heavy duty, I have one but i bought it used on Craigslist. Poor seller had just developed ALS, so I think of him every time I use it. Bolts my guy, not screws. Harbor fregiht makes a large 1/2 breaker bar, and on that damn subaru, I needed them. My guy Nate said get a milwaukee cordless impact, best damn tool you'll buy he said. Maybe this CHristmas ? .. Love your enthusiasm and persistence.

    I tell you what bro its hard finding people that know how to work on these old cars. I have 69 Cadillac Miller Meteor Ambulance built over a Fleetwood base that i turned into a Ghostbusters Ectomobile. This video has showed me a lot and I also have a Cadillac Shop Manual for the car. Thinking about redoing my engine myself. Do you recommend staying with the "QUADRAJET Carburetor or do you have any suggestions

      I'm jealous. I been looking for a decent ambulance forever. I your quadrajet works, keep it. You wont get any significant power from the upgrade without changing a bunch of other thing with it.

      I haven't been able to find any yet, but I think they are the same size and shape as the 68 Chevy Impala. In a future video I was going to purchase them and see if they fit.

    Gots me a 69 coupe Deville, gonna pull the engine, did you have to block the transmission so it wouldn’t flop down after engine removal?

    • @cadillacmack
      @cadillacmack  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      nah, but i would support it anyway, just in case

    oh, don't leave metal bare like that on the Passenger door....you can't see it, but rust starts immediately and IF anyone touches it, the oils in your skin will cause paint adhesion issues later ! I was told that by two pros, who know.
