I wonder if I will hear that iconic engine sound from Honda ever again with their newest bikes. My dad had a CB900F Hornet painted blue and it was iconic. We used to do some trips (I sat behind him, because I didn't have the age and now I own CB125R) and that iconic sound will stay in my heart forever! Cool bike
In most situation's you really don't need the choke. I thought the same when i first got my 04 treated it like my old CB750 but with the EFI unless it's been sittin a long time and it's really cold you don't need the choke. I ride mine yr round and even in the winter I don't use he choke because I fire it up almost daily.
Im buying one tommorow probably and i need your help. Ambient temp was around 15C, we started the bike and had a quiet valve rattle, which went away in a couple of minutes, no choke used. Should i worry about that, since the bike looks amazing, upgraded with inverted fork from a cbr, braided brake lights, discs, and some more. Any help will be usefull :D
@@marcinkowalcze Very true, dropped mine recently (slow speed) and while i do need a welder, its only for the upper bolt for the front sprocket. Now just need to pray it ain't gonna cost me both my kidneys to repair.

Ive had my '07 919 for 10yrs and ive never had to use the choke.

It isn’t a choke in the traditional sense it’s a fast idle control. The bike will start without it but the engine will labour if it’s cold
I have also never had to use the choke on my hornet. It’s an 06 so it’s that beautiful red. I love these bikes

I wouldnt say to worry about it, especially that it went quickly away, those engines are bulletproof in general
