So here's a fun fact: Before, the expected number of Apros needed to go from +19 to +20 was 1000. With the new system (using the rounded numbers seen in this video), it works out to... drumroll... 1001. That's within the margin of rounding errors. It literally did not get any more expensive to get your upgrade success, the new system merely makes it less likely to get done very fast or very slowly.

It is nice, that you can sell a jewelery at a more reasonable price then before. The attempts stay on the jewel so its worth more then one with no attempts at the same lvl.

EDIT: The new system is very favorable towards the higher upgrades (10++) because now it is an actual guarantee that you will hit success on the average line. The bad news is now everything needs to hit the average line. Meaning if you're trying to +1 to +5 for example, will take considerably more than it used to, since the initial chances of success are significantly lower, thereby removing this feeling of being lucky and getting a first try success. Its still pretty scummy in my opinion, its a pity system for them to make more money (since allot less people actually upgrade after a certain point because its cheaper to buy already upgraded equipment), not for the users. They just offset the costs of potentially milking thousands of dollars for higher level upgrades and redistributed it to lower upgrades. On average it will take more to +1~+20 than it used to BUT will cost significantly less(plus a guarantee after a certain point) to say +19 to +20, based on this logic at least. I ain't no statistician.
they just encourage me to RMT, there's no point in buying their FCoin when I can just buy a cheaper upgraded acce, same goes to weapons, instead of buying weapon bonus to get my desired skill to come out only for the low % in it i'll just buy a cheaper +10/10 with the weapon bonus I want and since penya is cheap right now i'd get a better deal out of it

took me 172 apro+dice 10 to upgrade a demol+17 to +18 when previously i can just do around 120-150, also before pity system I refined 5 items to +10 using 100 spro and normal dice, now normal dice are expected to fail and build that pity up, it has become useless so is spro low
This system is complete BS, at high upgrade in the first tries you basically have no chance to success it's like a must have sacrifice. they removed the 'Lucky RNG' by forcing us to spend a minimum number of scroll they are just winning lol

sadly the expansion feels like nothing was tested by the devs and just pumped out and that with a 6 month delay is really disappointing for many players

Gala can spit in the whales faces and they'd still throw money at them.

@@Gretschi well, spending most of your time (8-12 hours) grinding vs working like (1 - 2 hours) to get same items that you want. you choose. its not always about money. time is the most important thing in the world bro. i rather pay than to grind 8-12 hours of my time.

This is really the most expensive upgrade video I've seen in flyff u yt. I think buying +20 would be a better choice then.
I tried buying for 7 weeks only found 2 vigors for sale thats it so i used the upgrade scroll sale to do it myself

Hitting 18-20 with 4k aproes would say its quite decent.
Took me 362 spros to upgrade 2 weapons from 9-10 and elem 9-10. As well as my set 9-10. Lol total cost like 2.6b 😢
