I'd also like to live with the painting by Degas mentioned by Billy Nighy. 'Woman at a Window' by Edgar Degas is undoubtedly one of my favourite paintings at The Courtuald Gallery.

Loved being in the same cafe as Mr Nighy in London, we were taking a break after a full morning with Hubby looking for handmade UK shoes..We didn't disturb of course as we respect the local 'Wild Life'! A special memory!

I could relate to your comments on the, "Woman at a Window" Mr Nighy. Why was it, after visiting many art galleries and seeing many paintings, that one painting in the Musée d'Orsay stopped me in my tracks? Whatever the reason these things happen, I am glad that I am subject to it.
