HOW TO MAKE CLAMPS AND FLANGES WITH THE PP200 NARGESA HORIZONTAL BENDING PRESS

We show in this video the manufacture of different types of clamps and flanges using the PP200 Horizontal Press Brake.
This hydraulic press is one of the most versatile machines that we manufacture. With its 20 tons of power, it allows us to bend, fold, bend and shape all types of cold metals to make these clamps in series.

What method do you use to determine the tonnage to form the first part?

To calculate the tonnage required in the hydraulic press to make these three bends in the handrail, we can use the general formula to calculate the force necessary in a bending process. This formula considers several factors, such as sheet metal thickness, part length, and material properties.
The general formula to calculate the force required in a bend is:
Force(F)= L×T×K/M
Where:
L is the length of the sheet to be bent (in meters).
T is the thickness of the sheet (in meters).
K is the bending factor, which depends on the bending angle, die shape and material properties. This value can vary between 0.3 and 0.5 for typical bends.
M is the tensile strength modulus of the material (in pascals), which is a property of the material that indicates its resistance to deformation.
Once these values have been determined for each of the three folds, we must add them to obtain the total tonnage needed.

Gracias por su comentario! Por supuesto, lo único que este proceso de conformado de una abrazadera para tubo requiere de un utillaje y recorrido adecuado para la dimensión requerida, y fuerza. Ésta última puede ejercerse de múltiples formas, por prensa excéntrica, hidráulica e incluso de forma manual. Cada una con sus ventajas y sus inconvenientes.
