I’ve just started photoshopping. What is better. Outlining with pen then painting the highlights. Or just going into layer options and putting an outer glow on??
I liked the way you did all detailing work 👌, but for me the gaussian blur was the last step 🔴

Wow ...!! You could simply:
- Add new blank transparent layer
- create outer white line
- create copy (duplicate layer)
- change the copy layer to pink color
- blur the copy layer with (pink line) using Gaussian blur effect
- edit lights effect manually
done!

For those who don’t know, u can use [brackets] to change the size of your tool
shift+bracket?
i use this key in adobe animate to change brush size
so its just bractet to change size of brush?

great vid thanks for sharing, I would just like to suggest talking us through the steps. It would have been much easier to follow them, I had to stop the video & repeat a lot to make sure I took the correct steps. that's the only thing that would make me prefer searching for another explanatory video in the future. thanks again

For now I got something like it by dropping the opacity on the brush (top bar of PS window) to 15%.
After I am done with the pen tool I tried to click stroke path, but is it grayed out, do you know why?
Edit: nevermind I looked it up and it sayed I just needed to select a layer, ty!
