Re-assembling a Heckel contrabassoon! This instrument goes from over 100 separate parts, to a fully working contrabassoon.

Could you make a video, where you play the contra? I'd love to hear how it sounds! Might be a rare opportunity to hear a 100 year old Heckel.

Very nice. I used to play on a 1927 Heckel contra that a friend had. A lovely sound.

I would probaly mess it up and it would not be lined up in spots if I had to do this.
