Strange how the gateless signals bell decided to call it quits right in the middle of the video. Welp only one fix for it. Shake the signal then it will ring again lol! Really nice video.
Either the mechanical bells were louder, or the ebell sounded a little scratchy at the end of the video, also, I learned that if the mechanical bells start to ring faster, their on a lower voltage.
It’s probably the angle that the camera was recording that makes them sound that way. It is the other way around, a coil is stronger with more voltage. This makes bells ring louder and faster at a higher voltage.

Nice video! I see that the gated signals are back to having the MoPac bell sequence while the gateless signal's bell rings the entire time.
The gateless signal will be receiving a pedestrian gate soon. That bell sequence on that signal will be changed.

My crossing gate was damaged in a storm last Friday and the gate went from a fiberglass to a aluminum gate but do they still make fiberglass gates?
Yes, fiberglass gates are still made. They don’t last as long as aluminum and they cost slightly less so railroads just go with aluminum ones now.

The slanted gate stripes are definitely becoming rare but they are still made.

Usually the exact issue is unknown. High wind, corroded or worn shear blots or vehicle colliding with the gates are common causes for this.
