- Named after their gigantic beaks, hornbills are some of the most recognisable birds in all of Borneo. Alex takes to the tree tops with DGFC climbing expert Koko and helps HUTAN install a new hornbill home high up in the forest canopy.

I was lucky enough to visit Borneo whilst serving in the Army in 1992. Beautiful country
Truskan usaha untuk mendidik rakyat malaysia terutamanya agar hutan kita yang tercinta ini terpelihara selamanya
Kan.. jangan tebang pokok jugak
We lived in Brunei in the late 70s to late 80s. I was 9 or 10 yrs. old back then….The wildlife in Brunei back then was beautiful and surprisingly huge! From Cicadas to crocs., they’re huge! I thought hornbill are small cute birds ( which i saw first on cereal boxes) but when i saw one in the wild flying from tree to tree, it was big! I’m happy there are people that guard and care the jungle of borneo for future generations to see. Terima khasi!
Thank you very much for making nests for Hornbill bird. I wish that Thailand, Burma, India and other country also do the same.
im from india

For anyone who dosen't know the "Rhinoceros Hornbill Bird" is now on the endangered list which is so sad because this creature looks very intregaing and I became horrified to know it became this way because of plantations of oil palm trees.
And theirs alot of food we didn't know that has palm oil in it For Example : Tastykake products have Palm oil in them so if you are a person who likes Tastykake like me that didn't know about this information then you and I are unconsciously hurting the RHINOCEROS HORNELL BIRD!
Please be aware of what your eating and what's inside the food your eating! And spread the word if you want to!
So true

@@aestheticblooser6502 it’s not the same. Sabah is Sabah. Gunung Kinabalu is in Sabah. Not Sarawak. Get your geographical facts straight :)

How about Leopard and Cheetah ? They deserve their own episodes.
Lowkey i miss jungle
These past few years, I've been regularly saw it in my village (and several times in just this year (Jan-Feb 2023)). Idk if it's a happy occasion because it can be either the population increased; or just that its habitats have been reduced.
The natural river in so milky and muddy, it is impossible unless there is illegal lodging in the preserved forests! Why the government didn't take any action! Illegal lodging is the main cause which causes the habitat of the hornbills and other animals being destroyed! Tackling this problem could eradicate the problem from the root cause!
Saya suka hidupan dalam hutan..
👍🏾you go girl! Creation is beautiful and soon man's creator will get rid of all who wantonly destroy earth and it's wonderful contents...Revelation 11:18
Bonus question.. which spesis and genus , the exact features and looks representing Sarawak? anyone can answer?

Please make full documentary on Hornbills birds. There is no more useful information about this species
You keep saying "JFC" but you might want to explain what that stands for cuz I have no idea.
Edit: Oh my god, you're actually saying "DGFC" not "The JFC".

Sadly these birds are now endangered due to idiots who hunt them for no reason and deforestation all because of 💸💸💸💸
I just though no more already
firstly who put the rope on top of tree?
Secondly u sh wear dress something to show ur body curve 😬
Iban is still alive but Iban did this and i am also an Iban but im dissapointed
No wonder bcoz we use their feather its tradition to our culter costume, but no need to kill them & we all realized that.
@@nangsteady2912 Nang Steady oh you talk about among the nice people out there you dont see what i saw people would kill them because they are majestic to other country people or mostly Foreigner ...and how do they get it ? yes from my culture... how do i know it ? Cause i live where Burung Kenyalang is exist and are there a proof? No why cause im 15 y'o ? Who would followed what i said ? An ibans? Older people dont listen to me , and one more thing , u see somethings nice not the bad part of "Burung Kenyalang" world
@@morinnnn9951 lol no need to worried bro, bcoz our gov & ngo protect this birds like in the video. xcept if the bird fly & ENTER the kalimantan indonesia, sure the will hunt.
@@nangsteady2912 so you thought that if all of this kind of NGO people exist people still dont hunt ?
