    Where can I go to learn this? I don’t know what to use or anything but I’d like to make fireworks when I get older.

    What happen when flash powder and charcoal mix.

      Charcoal will probably increase the ignition temperature & slow down flesh.

  • @PyroFalcon
    @PyroFalcon ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What type of charcoal (species)?

    • @MakeAndDestroyFireworks
      @MakeAndDestroyFireworks  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Usually I use mixed hard wood, which is not optimal but after solid granulation technique I get it right almost every time. It's usually Aspen, Acacia, Elm, etc.

    Great video my dude!! Keep posting your creations!!😁😆
    I have this question...I know to make BP is (75-15-10) but I make small quantities I divide them by 5 (15-3-2) but results turn out bad, llike a white hard residue...I made some by lowering the down the Kno3 thus having better results...but not like yours....for example to make a 20g batch what are the ratios of the powders?
    Many Thanks!.

      Are you using a Ball Mill?

    • @jonathanleon6615
      @jonathanleon6615 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hunternedib1119 No... I am not...but they are fine quality powders I shake the mix with my hand for 5 mins...its good...but not that good

      @@jonathanleon6615 If you want optimal results, you need to ball mill the powder.
      If you live in the States, Harbor freight sells the rock tumbles for 70 bucks.
      Good Luck!

      You have the right ratio, maybe It could help you to make granulated black powder by adding Dextrin and wetting the mix, then passing it thru the mesh screen several times, that way your comp will be mixed & bound together better than just mixing. Note, you'll need fine powders of all chems. Stay safe always.
