Usually I use mixed hard wood, which is not optimal but after solid granulation technique I get it right almost every time. It's usually Aspen, Acacia, Elm, etc.

@@jonathanleon6615 If you want optimal results, you need to ball mill the powder. If you live in the States, Harbor freight sells the rock tumbles for 70 bucks. Good Luck!
You have the right ratio, maybe It could help you to make granulated black powder by adding Dextrin and wetting the mix, then passing it thru the mesh screen several times, that way your comp will be mixed & bound together better than just mixing. Note, you'll need fine powders of all chems. Stay safe always.

@@hunternedib1119 No... I am not...but they are fine quality powders I shake the mix with my hand for 5 mins...its good...but not that good
