  • In this video I walk between four medieval parish churches with special round towers in South Norfolk. The walk was around 8-9km and went through the villages of Aslacton, Forncett St Peter, Wacton and Long Stratton.

Great video - I love round-tower churches but have not visited these yet. You really capture that special Norfolk atmosphere well in this video!

Thanks for the well-presented video! I found that East Anglian churches, even when they have little of particular interest, are a delight to visit. They are beautiful, and they are doing what they have done for centuries, as you said of Aslacton. Of course, there is also a wealth of interest if you visit the right churches.

Yeah, he’s back…;0)! I was near Ipswich in June, too - though I mainly visited Essex churches and Constable related churches/Flatford Mill. So many churches in such a concisely presented video - quite an achievement really! My attempts at conciseness are currently failing! I always enjoy viewing your sketches and particularly liked the watercolour - it’s a lovely addition to your presentation. A lovely selection of churches, with many features to absorb. Look forward to the next one. Cheers for now 🍻
