I discovered this song (and this band) in 2017. Today I am 45 years old and this song is still, for me and my wife, one of the most romantic and inspiring we know.
I completely forgot about this beautiful masterpiece. Here I am listening to it 8 years later, wondering why I ever stopped. It's sad how fast life goes by.
I would listen to this all the time in Hawaii. Float around in the waters looking at the sky, could hear this very song playing those outro sounds. Bliss
i honestly used to listen to this song as a teenager imagining where my life might take me. i'm gonna be 28 in july this year, and while everything might not have gone according to plan, i have 0 regrets. here's to a good life, with a good soundtrack.
It’s so cool when you listen to this song with earphones or headphones. Sometimes, the sounds go back in forth into one ear and then switches over to the other. It makes for a more relaxing, personal experience
I'm so glad this song has gotten a remaster. I first heard it in the Hitman Sapienza trailer and since then I've been revisiting it every couple of months
I am so unbelievably satisfied. I saw they were remastering the Drink The Sea album and I got chills when I finally saw they released this. This was my favorite song growing up!
I remember this song so clearly growing up. This song made me really appreciate good NC headphones. Quiet noise floor and this booming blown out drum sound and all the chatter and little bits of the song I never heard over the years. My cans have evolved with me and this song with the right pair is amazing. The depth and separation of all the parts of the music, and her beautiful almost ethereal voice is deep and quite powerful.
My nostalgia comes from Nokia. Thanks to the Finish company and their commercial of Nokia 808 PureView I am aware of this band and their outstanding musical art. Couldn't manage to buy a copy of the limited vinyl sadly, but the CD will be in my possesion one day. One of if not The best of their albums.
This Song Is One Of The Most Incredible Songs Ive Ever Heard, The Way The Soundstage Builds And Opens Into Breathtaking Melodies Choirs Of Angelic Voices The Breakdown Before That Second Drop Just PERFECTION. Sonic Perfection. Listened To This At Least 100 Times Over The Years Cant Get Over The Way Those Vocals Ride With That High Lead Instrument . So Beautiful Ive Cried Before Haha Absolute Masterpiece
It’s 2018 and I just turned forty (I mean 29). Tesla sent me and many people from all over the country to one of their delivery centers to help out with deliveries. My second day there an amazing woman with a beautiful smile that lit up the room walks in. On day four she asks me if I ever heard The Glitch Mob. She played this album and it grabbed my soul just like she did. At the end of the two weeks we were in love. She lived states away from me. The shortest distance between two points was a line from her to me. She is the loml ❤️. Your music is so amazing and had it not be for 2020, we would have saw you last May. Soon we will. I know, with all my heart, your music was a piece of something so special that we have. Thank you
This album is truly amazing, I remember listening to it over and over. This was my favorite song of the album. This album help me heal through my dark times.
I've finished playing Cyberpunk 2077 and this song randomly popped into my head and I thought this suits the ending credits so well. Surprised CDPR never called on you guys to help in some way, would've been a perfect fit.
@@tonythetone Glitch mob unfortunately hadn't made music like this a couple years after the first, original release of this album- due to that, they probably weren't CDProjektRed's first pick.
This visual video is just absolutely perfect in every way!!! I've been listening to them for Sooo many years like I was 16? When first found them and I'm 29 now... Still listening on late night drives... Thank you ❤🔥 💯
So much electronica and EDM from this era sounds incredibly dated right now but not this masterpiece, can say that for most of this album really! Ahead of its time, still sounds fresh as hell in 2023. Sounds fresher than their newer stuff, even.
Me: "Drink the Sea is the greatest album that will ever be written, nothing will ever top it" Josh, Ed, and Justin: "what about Drink the Sea... AGAIN?" Me: "please take my money"
I want to do more! This album gave me the recognition I needed. Like medicine it heals me. Reminds me of those who listened to a broken man shining on psn days. Where I existed to send messages. Can we reach out again from the past and make the future?
Omfg i used to listening to before 7 years and this was so speechless!! Still favorite sensual song between lot of songs releasing today!!!! I still hope i'll dance to some lover to it :(:D Maybe ill record choreography for that. What do u think?
The S from yesterday with the sharp points which the onion took advantage off 🖕 is the swan water sheesh glass which they tried to make into file coin when they said people dump ehrt for filecoin 😭
The first song I ever heard from you guys was Animus Vox and I loved it. In fact, it was this specific video too th-cam.com/video/HVpY_qIPM34/w-d-xo.html However, nothing has ever hit harder than this song for me. I don't get where is the remaster ? I see no differences.
it's about different audio characteristics, some parts sound smoother, some parts have deeper bass etc.
