The buckets and packages of freeze dried and dehydrated with professional labels are all long term storage and cost $$$. Hope you saved that for your pantry.
This storage unit would be a life saver for an entire family!! It would sustain them maybe for years, if they ration it. ❤❤❤the best $2,000 anyone will ever spend on a unit as far as I'm concerned. You can even live in the unit for shelter. The cans should last as long as the can is not damaged, far beyond the expiration date. ❤❤❤great video guys😂
I am so disapointed in all the "joking" and mocking about preppers. This Locker is TRUE wealth. You did not lose $$, you threw it out the window. Thank god you gave it to the food bank. Those customers can and do truely appreciate the blessing of food. Your a smart cookie, you should dig in and do a deep dive on the subject. Food will save you in the long run, and enable you to keep that melted down gold and silver and use it wisely and sparingly and keep it for the long game. Gold can not buy food that is not available, and it does not fill the belly in an emergency.
There's a lot of people that don't understand what's coming and I don't mean the end of the world i'm talking about major food shortages. They don't value food , but they will when they don't have any.
I think that it means you have been so blessed in your lifetime! Many young people have not had to eat just beans and potatoes in their life! I remember those days! I can't believe what a great locker that is!!!!
Absolutely nothing wrong with that food Wade it can still be consumed with no problem. 😊 Excellent pepper, needed to put some of that in some of those buckets also. That's what preserved like the rice, beans etc. Garbanzo beans are in with pinto, black beans etc. Hey if there is no other food you'd be happy to have beans to add to just about anything. Donation would be good if you don't want it, but you could make money on it too.😊❤ I think it's a great unit.
Well, I wasn't worried about the end of the world...but with COVID I suddenly realized that there are emergencies that prevent you from being able to get to a store! Tornadoes! Once a hurricane kept our power off for 2-3 weeks! And thank goodness I did this because the prices have tripled/quadrupled! AND I learned to can after I retired from work! So... you young whopper snappers need to think ahead!!!! And you struck gold on that honey!!!!
@noregerts25 Hello there. Psychic mediums ,astrologers & many others are encouraging us to prepare ourselves with food & water for at least a week. So many things going on in our world right now, solar flares, economy, etc. Some are recommending longer than a week. This is not to scare us, but just to be prepared. I'm certainly no expert with any of this, I can share some videos with you to help you prepare also. Let me know.
@@darlenel1434 no offense to you in ANY way shape or form.. I just don't believe in that stuff.. but I'm also not in denial that we're all basically going to be screwed!! The economy is awful the way it is right now and to think of the future is even more terrifying! I have been stock piling for a bit now.. my husband is completely convinced that there's going to be a civil war.. I don't know.. but I'm sick have to have several medications every single day.. through the day.. As do many others.. I have to have daily hydration through a port in my chest.. I can ONLY eat baby food.. then there are SOOOOO many more than are worse than I am.. especially babies and small children! Okay let me get back on topic 😁.. I know things are going to get like we have NEVER EVER seen in our lives.. I pray to God above that it doesn't happen🙏🏼
Garbanzo beans are chickpeas. Good protein. Donate the food to the homeless food banks. Most other food banks can’t take out of date stuff. Absolutely live you guys.
If i was yall. I would keep all that food. This is a gold mine. The way groceries keeps going up and the way the world is going. Your gonna need it. Money well spent.
Well done mate I volunteer in the UK 🇬🇧 at a place where we help people with food who need a hand, keep up thinking of others, including when you return personal things back to the families after you have checked everything. 👍👍👍👍👍👍❤
You’re right! Plus considering how grocery prices have skyrocketed, they were smart! If you notice the dates “suggested best by dates” not expired..and these foods are still edible!
Excellent Wade, helping other people. I would have bought a lot of that food from you if I was near your area but donating to a bunch of people, even better.👍👏
Canned food stays good for up to 6 years past the best buy/expiration date. I learned this from a food bank. They didn't give away food over 2 years past the expiration date, but they said this came from the FDA.
I had to stop watching this video a few minutes due to the silliness over expiration dates. Someone even suggested trashing all of those can goods. The can goods are fine and will be for years. Unless weevils or something of that nature gets in, the same can be said for the flour, pancake mixes etc. SMH
@karenkoe7096 I would have changed ownership name of the storage unit changed all the locks, leave everything as is and started paying the rental fee for the food shortages soon to come!!!
You should donate to homeless shelters, churches etc. you, Ashley & Grandma Ventures are special people, who care about other people. Love the fact that you respect families by returning any personal items & not showing them. Will be watching all three of you. To me, you are a better floss tuber, you have fun while filming, give ideas for bidding, & again respect families. Thank you
Garbanzo beans are high in protein and you can make hummus out of them too. The salt, beans and sugar are useable long past their expiration date. Rice is good for about 30 years if stored in an airtight container. Jasmine rice doesn’t last as long.
Hi wade I watch you videos a little bird told me you and grandma had a loss in your family I’m so sorry sending you lots of love and prayers please pass this on to your mom and family
There is a difference from best before and expired food 20 liters of Honey .... $65 cdn Pint sized jars $16 a case Paul of mre ...$165-$365 Garbanzo beans / chick peas / hummus ingredients If you cook beans upside down they come out as burps
There's no organization that monitors expiration dates companies determine their own expiration dates usually based off of what they would like the turnaround to be so how long it takes to make ship to stores sell to end users and use it the exp is too long then people will not buy more
Hello from Texas77” I would buy your wife some roses. But I don’t know why so much rice and beans but beans are protein. That is a same if they can’t use it. But if they can that will be great. Love your videos. Love watching you guys and love your mom. Love hearing her laugh. Love Nana77”❤😂
They were ahead of their time, but not very good at rotating their inventory to keep it fresh... I didn't see a single item that wouldn't still be safe to eat (the expiration dates are somewhat arbitrary and are just a suggestion though items in a can sometimes taste like the can). I'll bet the items that have expired could/would be used by a homeless shelter.
Garbanzo beans are what you put into a salad they also can make Hummus Which is a dip that you can put your Fritos and chips into Scoop it out it's very good.
If you’re hungry and the world is in turmoil we won’t care about dates. And we will all head towards these homes hoping they had some old food for us. Canners and churches putting food away or freeze drying will be the way to survive.
Salt and sugar can be used as a bartering tool when cash is no longer usable. Rice too. You laugh but you are secure with never worrying your family will starve. Keep everything.

Fruit and rice for pudding😅
Beans beans good for the heart the more you fart
Curry
Remember Best Buy date and expiration are two different things. Beans, sugar, rice etc are good forever unless packaging is damaged
Canned foods never expire unless they are rusty or swollen.
No one should ever eat expired canned tomato anything for the danger of getting botulism.
Quality decreases but safe if seal intact
@@faithelizabeth7304not true. It’s sealed under heated pressure. It’s fine. Ask the LDS Church
Correct only if rusted or swollen throw away
Food pantries will take canned food several years after the expiration. I would still consider it safe.
Dude . Honey NEVER. Expires. That bucket is probably $200
Maybe more $. wow! That’s a huge bucket of honey!
I’m a beekeeper and if that honey isn’t dark honey it will sell for $10-12/lb . That bucket is 60lbs . If I was y’all I would keep most of that food .
Best by date on canned food does not not mean expired. It can still be good years past the best by date.
except tomato, never eat expired tomato or beans due to botulism
@@faithelizabeth7304 Unless the can is swollen they are fine too. You will know it if you see it.
Surprised they weren't some toilet paper to go with all those high fiber beans 😂
😂 I know that’s surprised me too. I would be stocking up on toilet paper. I’m a single person when I still stock up on toilet paper.😂
I worked in a food processing plant and those are the best by dates as long as the cans are not open they are still good
Honey is nature's purest foods. NEVER expires.
The buckets and packages of freeze dried and dehydrated with professional labels are all long term storage and cost $$$. Hope you saved that for your pantry.
I’ve looked them up before. Would love to have emergency food incase of.. well.. emergency. They’re definitely expensive.
Omg well done what an amazing gesture to donate that food. You and Ashley are so kind to do this. Well done xxxx
Wade and Ashley!!!!!! That is tons of $$$$$$ worth of GOOD food.
Remember when they used to call can and dry food Non perishable
Wade this unit is worth many thousands of dollars. You should keep it for your family. Someday we will all need it.
@gloriaburton1494 yes Wade worth thousands!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would have at least kept one rice, salt, flour, sugar…those are every day essentials

Food cost them more than $2k! Expiration really isn't conclusive.
Honey lasts forever.
Gallon of honey is a gold mine!
Great unit for Off Gridders!
Garbanzo beans are chick peas -- hummus is made from garbanzo beans
Out of all the storage units this one is the only one that matters! Keep all that food!

I was actually bidding on this unit, but dropped out after $1k. Most of that food in the pre-packaged tubs can be sold for a tidy sum. Well done!
Great that you donated guys, God Bless 😊
Nothing is expired. It’s a govt policy. You hit a gold mine
Most of that food is best by date, you can still eat the food, just some may have less flavor from the best by day! Joyce from Wisconsin!
Thank you and Ashley for donating that food . Good karma is coming your way .
Donate the food is a great idea well done ✅❤

Garbanzo beans are chickpeas
Expiry dates are a con as long as the cans are not blown they will be fine for yrs 🎉
The expired salt can be used for icy driveways in the winter. Better than nothing
Garbanzo beans are the same as chickpeas. Beige round beans. You can make hummus out of it. Now some food companies are making pasta out of it.
There is a difference from best before and expired food

If you cook beans upside down they come out as burps
You use garbanzo beans to make hummus.
Stop opening then quickly closing a lid and giving us all that drama. I hate that!❤
Rice and beans give you enough protein for a day. Which if you don't have meat it's a necessity. Rice if kept dry will last a very long time.

All that food left there long enough to go past. What a waste of money and food. Just crazy. USA NH
Thank u guys for donating be bless ❤❤loves
The expiration date on these or those type food is trash. Only dented cans and stuff with holes go bad. Look it up before you throw that stuff away
Looks like a survival unit
They take expired food and pass it out to people. Where I live they won’t take expired food
Canned foods never expire unless seals are bad .. that is a best used date anyway.. all that food is good .. do not throw it away ..
you can use salt in winter for the drive or use as weed killer in the yard and for cleaning
The salt is also used for preserving food
