  • Note: this was originally meant to be an annotated tutorial video until TH-cam removed annotations from videos.
    The basics of this game also work with the Golden Tee 3D and Golden Tee Live series of games, with a few exceptions (for example, the 3D series doesn't have a dedicated backspin button, fly-by, and looking up while the Live series also has roll, bite, release, and Golden Tees). Game footage is captured from a real Golden Tee Fore! Complete machine, with game audio through a line-level converter and video through a VGA to S-video converter into a Leadtek WinFast TV2000XP Expert. The video capture computer is an old Sony Vaio with a Pentium 4 2.53GHz CPU, 768MB of RAM, a 60GB hard drive, and video data streamed to an external hard drive. The GT Fore! Complete title theme/video is also included in this video. This gameplay is representative of an average player. For more tips and tricks you can check out the livestreams of various GT events and go to resources like goldenteefan.com.

    Our local ice rink use to have a bar upstairs and it had this game in there. I use to LOVE playing it while my brother would be there for hockey games. Such good memories

    Wonder what the difficulty setting was ? 3 or 4 based on wind and pin placement. Level 5 has insanely hard putting

      @@Geforcefly thanks for the reply. I love this game. I'm using a Atari Fightstick game board with a trackball and I finally got a pc with a graphics card that will play this full speed. Some great competitive fun

    Do you play the current version (2018) or just the old school courses?

    • @Geforcefly
      @Geforcefly  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't played all of the 2018 courses yet.

    How do you get such clear graphics? I'd like mine to look like this on my GT 2005.

      Here's how it worked: The video card used a standard VGA cable to connect to the game's motherboard which would then send the video signal through the JAMMA connector and to the machine's (normally CRT) monitor. Some LCD monitors, but not all, will work with the 25KHz (512x384 maximum) medium resolution signal output by the video card without a converter. The video's description shows how I captured the footage.

    Bogie it is.

      Yup. In the first gen games (before GT 3D Golf) it actually does say Bogey, and from the Gen 2 games (GT 3D Golf on) forward it says Bogie.

    7:42 well placed drive? There are trees blocking where the green is

      "Well-placed drive" is one of the 35 phrases said when your tee shot lands in the fairway and travels between 270 and 339 yards. For the optimal look maybe I could have been a little further back (and higher on the slope) so that a hard-hit 5-wood would clear the trees.
