Our local ice rink use to have a bar upstairs and it had this game in there. I use to LOVE playing it while my brother would be there for hockey games. Such good memories
@@Geforcefly thanks for the reply. I love this game. I'm using a Atari Fightstick game board with a trackball and I finally got a pc with a graphics card that will play this full speed. Some great competitive fun
"Well-placed drive" is one of the 35 phrases said when your tee shot lands in the fairway and travels between 270 and 339 yards. For the optimal look maybe I could have been a little further back (and higher on the slope) so that a hard-hit 5-wood would clear the trees.
Here's how it worked: The video card used a standard VGA cable to connect to the game's motherboard which would then send the video signal through the JAMMA connector and to the machine's (normally CRT) monitor. Some LCD monitors, but not all, will work with the 25KHz (512x384 maximum) medium resolution signal output by the video card without a converter. The video's description shows how I captured the footage.

Annotations was such a forgotten TH-cam feature…
Wonder what the difficulty setting was ? 3 or 4 based on wind and pin placement. Level 5 has insanely hard putting
Difficulty was set to 3

7:42 well placed drive? There are trees blocking where the green is

do you have a compact flash hard drive installed? more courses/tutorials please :)
How do you get such clear graphics? I'd like mine to look like this on my GT 2005.

Do you play the current version (2018) or just the old school courses?
I haven't played all of the 2018 courses yet.
Bogie it is.
Yup. In the first gen games (before GT 3D Golf) it actually does say Bogey, and from the Gen 2 games (GT 3D Golf on) forward it says Bogie.
