The sound was great, no leafblowers. GIE setting up GUAC was a cool setup from the bot. Also, OUTROAR with the bot drawing an S gives back WREN for 46!
26-32 is the exact score you had going into game 59 in the first series, but unlike that game, you won this one! You are now ahead of your first pace!!
The L is the worst 1-point consonant for bingoing, but yeah, with an open R in column A and 2 unseen R's, it's surprising. The pool is most likely the reason for that choice, I'd imagine; there are no more i's in the bag and it's a good vowel to go with L's.
fairy does seem better. i thought i heard it said that while the bot considers what tiles are in the bag at all times, it doesn't consider how many tiles are in the bag until 3 or less. so with 6 in the bag it's not considering sticking you with a hard dilemma of how many to leave yet.
Regarding audio: I did notice a change at first, wondered if you'd mention it. Got settled into it pretty fast, though. (Also, no leafblower sounds.) Regarding that opening play: I do like trading there. Just what else are you going to do? (Got my lexica mixed up and thought QUIRL played on your next turn... no, that's German.) Regarding WYNDS: I saw it before you said it! Regarding RAINIEST: Is it ever worth passing up a bingo so as to not draw all that stuff the bot threw back? I wouldn't, but that's mostly because I wouldn't have faith that I'd see the next bingo if I drew one. Regarding GIE/GUAC: Reminds me of a setup I once did - played 14A AX overlapping an A for AX and holding something like OCK, going for an OXO/CK play on the triple. Which probably wasn't the best, but I did end up hitting SOCK for 60 (missing YOCK for 70-something) after my opponent phonied, so it worked out. Regarding that bestbot exchange: I love how a trade is better on equity than a 32-point play... Regarding FLY: It thinking you empty more often is exactly what's going on. All the sims use HastyBot logic, i.e. none.
I do not agree with those saying the audio quality is great. I am hearing some audio pops again, which were not present in the most recent videos preceding this one. I noticed this even before you mentioned about the new microphone. (I can provide timestamps of audio pops, if anyone asks.) However, I do notice that the new microphone reduces how echoey the previous setup was, so that's a plus.
This might seem pedantic, and maybe it is. But I much prefer "that's not valid" to "that's not a word." There are many words that aren't in a particular region's Scrabble dictionary.
"I would be being a little bit of an IDDIOT if I played IDIOT with 2 T's" fantastic slip in that one. Accidental comedy gold.
I think it's the first time I'm seeing your ELO being higher than the bot's! 2191 in NWL is just insane.
Audio quality is great! Didn't hear the leaf-blower at all

@Mack Meller, are you able to remove that small white layer that surrounds the dark grey in your future vids? It would be even more of an improvement.
Spoiler Blocker Comment
I never had a problem with your audio, but as long as you're soliciting critiques: you need to aim your camera or position the crop properly....
OBELIZES and TEPHRITE are words I'm adding to my personal Scrabble vocabulary.
Great audio and great game
Noticed the mic as soon as I opened the video lovely!!
Mack is literally better than the bot now! Insane stuff
I'm surprised it chose FLY over FRY, given that there were still 3 R's unseen plus the floater.

Still liking the dark theme
keeping the Q on the trade seemed crazy to me

Great audio quality!

What mic did you use this time? Sound quality is so much better!
I think BestBot was out sick and HastyBot subbed in.
Bot is hasty bot 2.0 in disguise.

dark mode... op...
Is FILIOQUE valid? That would have been cool to get down on your third turn.
It's only good in CSW, as it happens.
