This video basically sums up my thoughts about why I love Thomas and the fandom itself, taking small bits of information or characters who probably have so little relevance or screen-time and make something new out of them will always be interesting to me Now every fandom is not perfect and the Thomas fandom is no exception, but I still think there’s enough good to talk about that outweighs the bad, I mean what fandom makes actual working props and creating stories that are one to one with the original not a whole lot Thomas as a show and a fandom will always be captivating to me and knowing that someone shares the same thoughts about this show is so cool, the world of Thomas and its fandom will never stop being creative and interesting to me
I think what's fascinating about this fandom is that everyone tries here Everyone right here is writing original stories that are 1-1 same formula as the TV series (although you may not like it since it's getting repetitive now) This fandom is replicating all the props making new ones and filming with them Unlike all the fandoms where all they do is animation fan art and a shit load of shipping (with fanfics) The people around here make sure to do their best to replicate the show It also called colaborates a lot You got a fandom of like murder drones Where everyone is whining and complaining that there won't be a season 2 in this fandom we already accepted that the classics series won't be back but instead of whining about it and begging the current owners of Thomas to go back into those ways we would rather just do it ourselves or do something better Also no one here thinks that Thomas is real therefore doing something like Someone giving their opinions about a character(s) And mf be like "No their great, they went through a lot. You're disgusting die in hell!1!" Or as dumb as drawing a character that went through a lot in a style of a unhinged show,game ect and then bashing the artist like "How dare you draw this fictional character that suffered a lot in the style of this disgusting show, game ect where the characters are seen murdering people and such.... you're being disrespectful to the character that suffered the lot!!" (By the way I'm not making stuff up, I saw this happening in a video just that it was omori characters in COA&LL style, omori fans were mad, so dumb) Like this fandom knows that the characters seen in the show on the are not real therefore everyone can make whatever with these characters whether they went for a long or not No one will really defend a fictional character as a person There's probably a lot more reasons but I'm too lazy to name them. This comment is already long as it is, and you only have so much time to read a novel But yeah this fandom is amazing
