That looks just like the ones i have. THERE BRIGHT AND THROW OUT BRIGHT LIGHT The problem with pole lights is trying to fine pole for them. Even metal fence pole are hard to fine and VERY Expensive ! So what does that leave me with? Wooden post. 4x4x12' that what i used. I don't even cement the post into the ground i just bury it 2' down cover it up add water to help pack it, and that is IT ! Painting the post b4 setting them down into the ground them help protect them lots longer
These solar street lights are getting better and cheaper. I like to get the 2 deal pack! The plus about them is? If there is a power outage? YOU GOT LIGHT The problem right now is? They don't store power long enough. You get 3 day CLOUDY DAYS. There dim! Some want even turn on. They do NOT CHARGE GOOD! ON CLOUDY DAYS! > Stay away from the plastic arms ones! There easy to break! Stay with metal arms street lights 👍. Or if you got away to wrap steel putty around the plastic arm or bondo is what you MUST DO> but that is expensive
I have 2 black dogs that are obviously hard to see at night in the back yard. I wanted something to illuminate the back corners of the yard better. I'll have to keep an eye on this one to see if the price drops a bit. Great review. You covered everything I was curious about.
I would not recommend this brand Eric. It is no longer working as far as I can tell. I plan to do a follow up video soon on all my projects just to keep everyone in the loop on any changes or issues that have occurred.
Good review Robert, but I'm not sure that I would be able to install it in a location where it would get enough sunlight on my barn/shop which may be too far from the house for the remote too. I ordered two of these from Amazon last night. FLOODOOR 30W LED Motion Sensor Light, 12-24V Outdoor Security Super Bright Flood Light, IP66 Waterproof, 6000K, 2700LM, Daylight White, 150W Halogen Bulb Equivalent, PIR Sensor Light (2 Pack)
@@GreenTechTown if you add a Chinese greenhouse blanket and green house plastic; couldn’t this light at 30,000 lumens and 6000 k function as a grow light in winter?
Drill a tiny hole at the bottom at the lowest point so rainwater wont collect there and flood the electronics. But if you're sure its waterproof, dunk it in a bucket full of water and see what happens. Dont forget to post the video hehe !
Appreciate your honesty, I like knowing what I’m getting myself into. Your video was informative and captivating.
I had to pause at 23 seconds in to write this comment: Awesome filmography and editing.
Thanks Jarom!

you really make clear and concise videos, to the point and no fluff! they're great! (read that in tony the tiger voice)
Haha, thanks! :D
Wow 100usd? That's twice as expensive as the rest of the solar lights with similar specs. Thank you for the review.
No problem, thanks for watching!
This is helpful. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!
Love what u doing brotha keep it up
Thanks Rashid!
Great review. The sensor of the light can be activated by the wind. 💯
Nice one mr. I will check it out

Please just DM me on IG@fhr_solarlight that I'll give a discount code to you.
@@kakilau5961 I am quite tech savvy but I do not follow tech vernacular. I do not know where you told me to DM you. lol

The longevity of devices like this do concern me.
How easily can it be maintained up graded etc.

Awesome. I may check out that concept as I do have an area I would like to add some lights but have the same issue as you. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, great review, how many lumens was the light?
On Amazon it mentions it has 6000 Lumen, but I did not check with a lumen meter.

What I'm more interested in is the durability of the lamp 1 year? 2 ?
After installing light, when it was dark out the light came on and was so dim I could have done better with a flashlight taped to the post…..
I don't see that bracket you used listed with it? Did you buy that separately or does it come with them? Thanks!
It came with it in my case.
nice one! we have similar solar light.
Awesome! How well does yours work?
@5:50 You sure the issue of "random" motion detection was not the ghosts of deceased relatives flying by for a wink and a nod?
That intro tho lol
Hi, are the batteries replaceable?
Hey Damion. No, the battery is not replacement that I could find. I believe the manual also states that it is not as well.
How long was the run time on it?
I currently have mine set to the 2 hour mode only, and so far I have not had any issues.
@@GreenTechTown Thanks 🙏
Artificial lighting at night can disrupt the growth and flowering cycles of plants. Best not to light plants at night unless that’s your intention.
good vedio,i like it XD
Awesome! :D
If you have a cloudy day these lights don't work. Trashed mine.
Ghost!!!
