    Wow! I will certainly incorporate your paintball drill into my backyard drills! Thanks for your smooth advice. I just started my youtube channel and paintball this year. I like the sport and the journey thus far! What better way to practice than your backyard when you're away from the field. - " I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who had practiced one kick 10,000 times"

      Or another from Bruce, "Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do."

    Great video Ryan, love the exercise and it really is legit. A modification I found to further this practice\drill is to get a cheap/small laser pointer, tape it so it is constantly on (when using it for the drill) and attach it to your barrel. I've been putting it right on the bottom of the barrel and setting targets up across my garage. Not 100% accuracy concerning paintball, but it does give me a better idea of where my barrel is coming up each time I post. Thanks for the vid!

    As another attachment point that may be more sturdy than the feedneck, opt for looping it through the grip frame.

    hey ryan im a big fan and have one question... what is your favorite gun besides the ego or the geos you guys use on the field?

  • @TheViperundereX
    @TheViperundereX 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I use a gripmaster (those things are for guitar player, so they work great for fast fingers)

  • @cinabolic
    @cinabolic 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Try putting the 2 trigger fingers into a rubber band, keep flicking alternatively. (Up and down)

    how did you break your feedneck? was it made of cardboard? or was it an aftermarket feedneck that you installed incorrectly?

  • @JoshCowley

    Great tips. Quick question, how should your stance be when you snap out?

  • @ryangreenspan
    @ryangreenspan  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    you want a good amount of resistance. Mine is 60lbs, that is just under 30Kg

  • @superskeeter5297

    Hey man, good Idea I'm tall as shit and can't do anything naturally on the field besides shoot off break, light up lanes and call out. I've been doing drills like this in the mirror for a while but, now I can slightly reduce the other core workouts I do to improve efficiency while strengthening snap speed.
    Although, I would like to go off of this video and propose a safer idea to avoid damaging the gun like the person in the comment before me by using wrist strap sand bags or even by loading something heavy in the hopper (which is also good for practicing snapping around corners as it adds weight to the highest point of the gun creating a slight challenge for your forearms and core while rolling out.

    0:32 - is that a custom geo2.1 or geo3. the milling looks like a 2.1 to me but i cant be sure.

    Dear Ryan,
    One of my team mates suffocated after his tension band got caught around his throat whilst doing this drill. What steps should I take in order to prevent this happening to me?
