These could be jsed for: A slower paced game, A game with a player character that's inexperienced with guns, A game where you can invest some sort of points into gun handling, or it has a unique system that makes it so that the more you use a certain gun out of your arsenal, the better you handle it, and the shorter the reloads are, And last but not least, they could be animations used for when you first findand pickup a weapon.

Its a lot faster to change a magazine then to spend time emptying a magazine of any remaining bullets and load them into a magazine.

And it lessens your body size, if you were to look at your wrist the normal way, your elbow is out and it’s much more obvious to point out that it’s a human figure. If the arm is slack and facing down with your wrist facing towards you, all you need to do is look down.

0:52 U usually turn the weapon to right in order to check where the bolt is and what's going on, and then you use the momentum to throw the empty mag to the other side so you're ready to insert the new one in a comfortable position... you did an extra (unnecessary) step then by shaking it left an right for some reason... BTW even though it's probably airsoft, you should really switch to safe mod and keep your finger away from the trigger while doing ANY reload - that's way more important than speed. Anyway I like your videos you do it just like in the games!

This would be an awesome implementation in some games, not overtly heavily like a trained solder doesn't know what they are doing but a variation of different reload types of the same style across different characters / quicker and better techniques as they level.

you can actually save a little bit of time on the last reload there with the bolt action (chamber empty) if you change the mag and then cycle the bolt assuming your magazine is able to be entered with a full mag and the action closed. The reason you save a could factions of a second doing it that way is because you did a have cycle and took your hand off the bolt to complete the cycle later. The extra movement of your hand costs you a little bit of time. Mostly shooting competitions with a bolt action that's to little to care but for those who care about every time saving measure its good to consider

Switching to a pistol and keeping the enemy shrunk is always faster. Shrinking your own signature is best practice during any reload.
