Now this brother described Atlanta exactly how it is not those who could n't make it in Atlanta. I moved there in 2000 and love it and a good majority of the people there are not from there but if you want to "come up" move to Atlanta. I met people who started on the bus and small apartment now they live in mansion and drive new car and done it all in less than 2 year period. Yes this doesn't happen to everyone but everyone in Atlanta knows if you get on your grind and stay on it you will come up. Can't wait to get back to the A in the next couple of months.
+DJ Kells "Wernt You Listening" I know Right? I'm getting responses from people who are so upset with Atlanta. If they can't figure it out here, they won't be able to figure it out anywhere. People need to mind their business, focus on themselves and immediate families and Atlanta is a sweet deal. But hey, I guess everyone is different.
Atlanta is growing by 70,000/yr. As a native and professional Real Estate Broker, I’m helping so many of those new residents purchase and rent. I love helping people get settled here. #DBaileyAndAssociatesRealty
I'm from Pittsburgh. This was really a great video. You covered so much info. That would be a nice experience to see black people in a majority situation and it not be an oddity.
Cadmar Business Suite Dude, leave the burgh! We run ATL! Stay in Pittsburgh only if Your Italian, Irish, Jewish,Polish,Serb,Ukrainian,Czech,German or Lithuanian! In the burgh you might find a job, but in the ATL you have a chance to really set it off if you have what it takes!
Thanks, Passport King! After moving here from Brooklyn, NY, a year ago I am enjoying the same things you are, a retreat from the cold, impossible parking, and paying absorbent prices for rent.. Don't get me wrong, there is no place on the planet like NY for culture, art, and entertainment but so far Atlanta is feeling and looking pretty good.
Yeah I am originally from MA with Carolinian roots. I have research ATL time over so you truly are a breath of fresh air very uplifting and positve thanks for posting this video
I’m originally from Baltimore...that place is Atlanta on steroids. My parents moved me and my sisters down for a better life. It ain’t perfect but nothing really is. Thanks for painting a real picture of my home.
Thank you so much for sharing I decided not to move to Atlanta because of all the negative videos I found on TH-cam your TH-cam video made me change my mind now I'm ready to focus on moving to Atlanta again thank you so much again.
DJ Kells "Wernt You Listening" Thanks because im from Manhattan New York, i am working but im tired of the city. Now i just have to pick where i wanna live in Atlanta. 😃
Thanks for the video. This is the most sensible description of Atlanta that I have ever heard. It all depends on perspective. I'm from the big city of Chicago and based on your NY point of view I think I would like it as well.
I'm glad you got the good end of the stick. Glad to hear your experience is working out great. Myself and the people I know have not had this experience. I've been here almost 6 years. Atlanta is a great place for a entrepreneurs but the regular 9-5 people it is hectic. The job market sucks, cost of living is high, scammers are at an all time high and nobody here works one job. Not to mention the traffic is horrible here because it is overpopulated. However I can understand your point of view because you are from up north and the cost of living is higher there. If you are from the south Atlanta is not the best place to move. I've decided to relocate to Houston TX the wages are higher and the cost of living is lower. Welcome to the south honey enjoy yourself. 😘
D H I can't believe dude said the women in Atlanta have their head on straight😂😂😂😂. They definitely don't have their head on straight and neither do the men. I also lived in Atlanta almost 6 years and it was a weird experience to say the least. I relocated to Atlanta from Washington, DC by way of Long Beach, CA. Atlanta was just a weird experience for me. The people are weird, do stupid ass shit, ass backwards, can't read, no high school education, dumb as fuck, and fake ass hell. This video is not a honest perspective on the Atlanta. They're a bunch of Country Bumpkin Ass Slaves down there. Yessa Boss, Yessa Massa ass slaves. I had to leave to keep from hurting somebody and being in jail. #NoMoreExcuses #TheTruthIsHere #Shalawam
ppl in Atlanta are struggling even the ones with degrees and u ppl from ny came down here with those rude ass attitudes and fake ass personalities and changed Atl for the worst I am definitely moving
LaTonya Moore Atlanta is overpopulated so your moving to Houston? A city with 6 million people was too crowded for you so you decided to move to a place with 7million? wouldn't it make sense to move somewhere with less people rather than more people?
Thank you soooo much ! I am currently in NYC and I plan on moving to ATL also. It just seems like the perfect place for me. Everyone that I know living there is doing well for themselves!
This video makes me feel better about considering moving to Atlanta from Ohio. I want to be a real estate agent and I also want to invest in properties. This city seems to be entrepreneur friendly
My fiancé and I are moving to Georgia (not specifically Atlanta) in March or so. We are starting two businesses there when we move. We too are from New York but they’re raising the taxes horribly and the housing market sucks. We figured moving to GA to start our businesses and a family would be a nice move. I hope we like it as much as you do! Lol
Pros and Cons of living in ATL. Pros: 1.Atlanta has a lot large population of blacks both men and women. 2.Affordable housing 3.Attractions like Coca cola world. 4.A few hours from Florida. 5.Doesn't get a lot of snow and the climate is warm most of the time. 6.A lot of movies such as Big Momma's like father like son,ATL,Spiderman homecoming,Beauty Shop, were filmed in Georgia including Atlanta. 7.Home to the braves and falcons 8.Some TV sitcoms like House Of Payne and Meet the browns were also filmed in Atlanta.
Anthony Henderson Black men are just messy in Atlanta. The heterosexual black men are commonly married and have a children. They just cheat and caught STD. STD rate is crazy in Atlanta, it’s because men are ready to lie on her name only to have sex.
Anthony Henderson In Atlanta everybody think they’re someone. It’s just black hype. In truth, everybody is broke like Stevie J, Lil scrappy lmao Cost of living is very low in Atlanta so if u from NY u can buy a Mansion in ATL

Kaley Elizabeth I live in Atl and it all depends on your lifestyle and how much you’re making. The most expensive areas are Alpharetta (I lived there for 10 years), Vinings, Buckhead, Dunwoody, Johns Creek and Suwanee. The semi upscale areas are Duluth, Roswell, Marietta (parts of Marietta is hood) and Smyrna. And whatever you’re into, Atlanta has it. Good luck 👍🏾
Thanks for the video. I love visiting Atlanta and plan to make it my home someday. I'm so glad you listed the pros and cons. Most of the videos I have watched about Atlanta are negative and the people seem angry. You seem like the friendly folk I meet when I visit. Again, thanks for sharing.
A lot of those folks need to look in the mirror to find out why things seem to never work out for them. I bet for damn sure it ain't working out for them in their hometowns either.
I am not black, but agree 100% on the attractiveness of the women in Atlanta. Considering moving there myself soon, and found the video enlightening. Thank you.

ATL does shut down for snow, but the snow itself isn't the problem. It's black ice. We get really, REALLY bad black ice, and it causes horrible accidents. If you see a thin layer of snow on the road, guaranteed there is black ice under it. And there is no budget for road salt and no preparation done for snow or ice, since we may go years without it, and then have maybe one or two times a year where we get snow. Best to stay home when it snows in ATL.
OMG! By far one of best moving to ATL vids!!! I'm a New Yorker that's looking to relocate and this was so great! Thank you thank you thank you!!! Peace bro! 😆🙏🏽
Wow, you wanting to leave NY for ATL? I thought NYC was the greatest city on Earth. I want to relocate myself. ATL and Houston is on the short list. If I could afford it I would add NYC. But Africa also has some nice modern cities. South Africa is nice and so is Ghana and Rwanda and Kenya. But that African thing may come later, but more and more people are moving to Africa.
Nice to hear some positive shout out for Atlanta. I noticed you brought up a lot of negative on NYC. They are totally different beasts. I would prefer NYC over Atlanta just for the opportunity and drive of a city of that stature. Atlanta has a lot to offer. I guess I love most cities I visit.
Yeah..the ATL Airport..Gateway to the world, baby!! But on the real, PPK, I'm from the deep south (NOLA) and I've got people that moved to the ATL.I live up North now in PA and have for close to 30 years and ready to make the move somewhere else and ATL is looking good. I can easily transfer my job and a lot of places are now pushing people to telework. My only gripe is that there is no body of water nearby. Oh, and I drove in NY a total of 3 times in my life and no more. Yes, ATL has a lot of black owned businesses. Great video!
+mmafan3 thanks for watching. I definitely see it as a cool retirement spot. But you are right about the water.. I fix that with multiple trips a year. I've been to PA too.
kweli05. Try the Gulf coast. The water is clear and beaches are nicer. People in Atlanta with a little money have condos on the Gulf. Atlantans with plenty of money have condos or homes in Miami.
I moved out of Atlanta in 2015 back to NYC couldn’t find a job was only making $13.50 with a Masters degree. I wish I would have stayed because NYC is terrible just a nice place to visit.
michelle williams, I agree and I believe you! $13.50 an hr. with a Masters degree..a damn shame😡!! I didn't see those numbers since the early 90s without a Masters degree and that was in NJ/NYC/Pa area.
Great summary bruha. I too will be moving to ATL to retire (outside the 285 perimeter), but like you I love the south and its way of life. I'm from Miami, Florida but I can't live in Miami anymore, I've simply out grown it. I love visiting NYC, but would never live there unless I where a millionaire. West coast action...far too many fires and earth quakes. East coast, Virginia or Maryland, D.C. far too much snow and cold....and the cost of living is crazy. Nah, I choose ATL or Orlando, Florida, its much warmer and the life-style in more to my liking. Peace, keep on traveling. RGEE
Thank you for the video really enjoyed your commentary, I also am a New Yorker looking to relocate to ATL this year (2018), and though ive watched many vids on ATL many are quite negative. Thanks for the upbeat vid which just keeps confirming my decision to make the move.
I LIKE ATL EVERYTHING YOU SAID IN THIS VIDEO IS TRUE I JUST PUT IN MY TRANSFER BACK TO ATL FROM DALLAS TX TO BE WITH MY DAUGHTER!!! IM TIRED OF DALLAS!!
Thanks King, I plan on moving to Atlanta next year and your info is very Motivating and extremely helpful. I will Been liking, subscribing and sharing your video bro!
Thank you! Very positive! I find that all the videos about how people should not move to Atlanta are part of the problem. The people seem to be quite negative anyway. I absolutely LOVE ATLANTA! And have no problem living here! I love the people and Atlanta culture! To all the positive people, PLEASE CONTINUE TO REPRESENT THE CITY WELL!!! DON'T ALLOW NEGATIVE PESSIMISTIC PEOPLE WIN!!! NOT IN ATLANTA! NOT NOW! NOT EVER! STAY STRONG! STAY POSITIVE! STAY ATLANTA!
Thanks for your comment. Be sure to share. And I agree with you. Sometimes people go to other states looking for a solution to a problem that is on their inside.
I’m thinking of moving to Atlanta (Fairburn area) from Missouri and this has to be the first review that seemed to glorify Atlanta lol. I understand your point of view coming from New York though.
Thanks for the video tour of Atlanta, GA. I was in the military out at Fort Gordon some time back. I will definitely consider visiting Atlanta in the near future.
Bruh. Like you, I'm from New York. The Bronx. I had the SAME encounters and stories when I first moved here. My parents, sister and oldest nephew moved here in 90. I was so New York, I stayed on my own in NY, until I moved here in 95. I hated it at first. But, NOW? You can't drag me out of Atlanta. I L-O-V-E the ATL. It's my 2nd home. Been here 24 years and not looking back. I get asked all the time when I'm moving back to New York and my response is always, 'never' ... Met my wife here, children were born here. Had some rough patches, but that's life. Started my I.T. career here. I can't see me living anywhere else. My heart is New York 1, Atlanta 1a
For real!! Sometimes i go up there for Thanksgiving. After I eat and say hi, Im ready to get up and own outta there! Yeah, I had some hard times too at first. I guess that was the becoming an adult stages that were not as neccessary in new york. I got past it and I'm happy you did. Thanks for the comment and peace.
For all the people that are looking into moving here y’all should consider moving to Bankhead, vine city area. The prices of the houses over there are extremely low.
I'm from Savannah but i lived in the A for 15 years. I kinda sorta wanted to go back, but after seeing this, I wanna go back. Also, you do your research well and state facts. Everything you said is 100. All of it. Well done big Bro. Now back to the video . . . . L
I’m from New York and I know that I’m getting that itch to leave So bad so thank you for this information I’m super hyped now to get my plans in motion.
Lmfao the whole gay section of this video had me dying! As a gay male, it makes me laugh that straight guys think gay people have any interest in them. People are people. Treat everyone with respect
If you want to be out in 15 -20 mins at the Georgia DMV go to the ones outside of the city limits on slow days like mid week. When I lived in the A I was always going to the DMV in north of the city. Housing in Atlanta is the best like Texas. When you buy a $400,000 home you get land , 4-5 bedrooms, and all the nice high end finishes. New York you buy a box for $400k and it is one ugly tiny box too. Everything you said is right.
Hey I really love your videos, I was born in NYC but was raised in Georgia and I like my southern accent. Also could you do a video like this about New York city?
Have been planning on moving back to the Motherland cuz of the treacherous winter seasons I've been dealing with last 24yrs in the Midwest but I might reconsider and move to ATL on a trial basis
Thank you for the video Roklan. I'm a South African entrepreneur considering Atlanta for business expansion. I'm hoping we'll meet when I come over there.
I hear you, bro. However, your video is full of hyperbole. NYC compared to Atlanta is like comparing a watermelon to a grape. I don't know if people truly understand how much more dense NYC is compared to Atlanta. Manhattan is 23 square miles. Yet, it has a population of 1.6 million! that's just one borough! Atlanta proper is 134 square miles, and has a population of 472,522, according to the 2016 count. Point is, A New Yorker will find it very relaxed in Atlanta. You will have a lot of elbow room. If I were an Atlanta native; I'd be livid! Atlanta is becoming more unlivable, everyday! Atlanta just wasn't designed to accommodate the explosion in population that has occurred. And, it's getting more expensive. From my experience, when people talk about their four bedroom, four bath, and two car garage house, they live in the metropolitan area, not Atlanta. Although, rather than refer to the metropolitan area as Greater Atlanta, it's called Atlanta. I advise that people choose wisely. Atlanta COULD become the place that you left, minus the great weather. I say, if your city lacks something, YOU provide that something! If indeed Atlanta has a lot of entrepreneurs. Guess what you have? A lot of competition! Just choose wisely, people. There is nothing magical about Atlanta. You are going to have to work hard to make it. Just like everywhere else. There are a lot of ambitious, educated, and young people here. Therefore, there is a lot of competition. A lot of your competition will be Nigerian, Korean, Chinese, Indian, etc. You'd better have your shit together!
Thanks for giving my hometown a good shoutout!
Thank you, please share the video

kweli05. Try the Gulf coast. The water is clear and beaches are nicer. People in Atlanta with a little money have condos on the Gulf. Atlantans with plenty of money have condos or homes in Miami.
+Laryan Ryan Oh yeh, no doubt. The Gulf Coast may have the best beaches worldwide. They may be slightly further though, but the beaches are great.
Really great video. Great sense of humor. I watched it to the end. Thanks for your positivity.
Love your video positive and real . I’m moving there in Spring and excited
thank u so much for your review. It has been the most positive yet
Thank you, please share the video
This dude’s funny, I like him.
I like this dude
You are my guy too!
I appreciate the video. Looking to make the move and this helped a lot!!! Appreciate you.
Great video I got offered a job in Atlanta really thinking about moving there
I like how since he used to live in NYC he considers Atlanta small
I moved out of Atlanta in 2015 back to NYC couldn’t find a job was only making $13.50 with a Masters degree. I wish I would have stayed because NYC is terrible just a nice place to visit.
michele williams it’s just so damn expensive here!!!
Masters in what field?
michelle williams,
I agree and I believe you! $13.50 an hr. with a Masters degree..a damn shame😡!! I didn't see those numbers since the early 90s without a Masters degree and that was in NJ/NYC/Pa area.
NYC is overrated and a shitty place to live.
Thanks for the upbeat vid which just keeps confirming my decision to make the move.
great content..More stuff on ATL please
Thank you, please share the video
The ATL . My favorite city . I live in L.A. now . Lower Alabama . Roll Tide . Thanx for the video .

I like the comment about the entrepreneur spirit.
Good points of view and fair and balanced opinions
I'm tired of Cali looking for my new home.
I’m thinking of moving to Atlanta (Fairburn area) from Missouri and this has to be the first review that seemed to glorify Atlanta lol. I understand your point of view coming from New York though.
I'm from Kansas City Missouri relocating to Atlanta !!
Thanks for the video tour of Atlanta, GA. I was in the military out at Fort Gordon some time back. I will
definitely consider visiting Atlanta in the near future.
Atlanta is great.
Very good video. Well presented and informative. Thanks!
+D. Davis thanks for watching and commenting
Headed that way next week to hit up career fairs. Looking to stack some cash for my business venture. Time to make it happen. Needed this video.
Yo passport King this is a dope video
Fire! That last part is great advice. I tell ppl that all the time
+Justin Henry thank you. Please share.
It's been 5 years with great tech opportunities and the warm weather. Ofcourse it still affordable in Atlanta suburbs.
Indeed bro. Indeed
For all the people that are looking into moving here y’all should consider moving to Bankhead, vine city area. The prices of the houses over there are extremely low.
Bro you have fire energy , I can't wait to move there 2021.. Miami sucks
Atlanta is full and reached full capacity. But thank you for thinking of us
I've been here for 13 years and this video is over 2 years old. Save it.
Sike nigga we still moving in..😂

Thank you, please share the video
I really like your videos. Great job. I appreciate you. I am thinking about to move to At. After I finished my school. God willing 🙏
LOL! I'm glad you addressed the gay stuff. It's really overrated and outsiders are misinformed.
Thank you, please share the video
Passport Kings loved the video! What part of Atlanta is a good place to live? Also what temp agencies did you go through?
@ same here . That surprised me
I like your programme... Can you mention some property companies and Hotels that can be contacted before moving in!
Good looking big dawg. I found this very usful.
Thanks Bro!
I'm from Savannah but i lived in the A for 15 years. I kinda sorta wanted to go back, but after seeing this, I wanna go back. Also, you do your research well and state facts. Everything you said is 100. All of it. Well done big Bro. Now back to the video . . . . L
Thank you sir!
Great video my brother
Thank you, please share the video
This was a Excellent video bro, Excellent. Im a black business owner in Philly and you taught me a few things thanks bro
Thanks man. Im glad you liked it.
I’m from New York and I know that I’m getting that itch to leave So bad so thank you for this information I’m super hyped now to get my plans in motion.
Youll love it.
This video was really good thanks
Great video..Sou Cal is tooo expensive now, gotta move, andnthw film business is big there,Atl sounds right..
Sounds like a great Idea. Ill get to work on it, Thank you, please share the video
Very interesting 🤔 and informative ty best expression of ATL appreciation to the highest effect
Let me know. I'm usually easy to get up with.
@@PassportKingsAwesome. Please send me your mobile no. or email address so I can notify you when I'm there.
How’s South Africa 🇿🇦
I'm 61 thinking of moving there.
Did you move to Atlanta? I am about your age and considering Atlanta too.
That, and Georgia along with Louisiana is one of the poor states, don't be fooled by the Atlanta Housewives and all that TV show crap
