I love this video much better. This was a simple video which was easy on the ears and easy for beginners to follow. I’m not a new beginner, but I still consider myself a beginner because I haven’t reached a professional level in my opinion. Your wallet came out nice, but I liked the black one better.

I do have a question about zippers lol I’m still learning my sewing machine but I was told not to sew over zippers could break your needle. But you do it with this one and the wallet one I watched! Lol it’s the one thing I’m nervous about! Lol do you have any tips on that for someone who’s never done zippers before! Lol or is it “old school” (my grandmother 🫶🏽) who is just set in her ways because she was told that as well! 😂😂 sorry this might be a dumb question lol I’m just super nervous on the whole zipper thing and sewing over the actual little bit of zipper that I would be sewing lol! Also awesome job on another great video 🫶🏽🫶🏽🤍 again…you made this look less intimidating lol so I’m excited to give this a try as well! Thank you!
This is not a dumb question at all. Zippers are intimidating and can be very challenging. For this I am sewing over the zipper teeth since I am using a plastic zipper. If this was metal I would not even attempt it. There is always the possibility of breaking a needle (I’ve done it many times sadly lol) but you want to take it easy and you’ll be fine. The main reason I am comfortable sewing over the teeth is because they are plastic (but I still go slow just in case) thank you soo much for watching ☺️☺️☺️

I have a ton of different places I get my vinyl from. Usually it’s from presale events. This one in particular I got from ohana fabrics. Definitely join their Facebook group to see if/when this pattern comes back in stock as well as their other prints ☺️

I enjoyed your video very much except for one thing. You have longer hair and when I took what was then called Home Ec, we were taught for safety reasons to tie our hair back in both the sewing and cooking terms. Nothing elaborate required, just a simple ponytail.
Thank you! My hair is pretty long. I normally do have it up for work so when i’m home I don’t have it up as often. If there is ever an incident i will never show it.
