In teams, Scar and some dude were playing Leffen and some dude (I think Ice). Scar pressed start to take a stock from his team mate, but I think he double tapped it and the game got paused. Leffen called this out as the rules were that any pauses meant you forfeit the stock. I think Scar's team looked like they could have won it if not for this. So Leffen just went by the rules, but people thought he was a little bitch. Kind of like a hall monitor.
Melee needs donations to beat out skullgirls to make EVO 2013. Game between them w/ most donations in ~15 days will make EVO. Donations go towards fighting breast cancer.

When it comes to competitive play, Brawl and Melee have a different play feel. Melee is more fast-paced and has many techniques which are impossible to pull off in Brawl. (wavedashing etc.) Some people prefer the fast tempo and advanced techniques of Melee.
I think I know why I prefer D1's commentary's to Dogy. I feel like Dogy is looking for (or just is good at finding) things to criticize about the players, instead of positive things. It starts to feel a bit naggy after a while. It's like... they're in the tournament, probably really far in. Do we need to be told, tsk, tsk, PP shouldn't get pummelled 4 times? Is it a need to display game knowledge? No one's doubting. Some more positivity and excitement I think would go a long way.

That's exactly why I love Dogy's commentary- I love to learn as much as possible about the game and he provides it.
