I watch the daily show tonight Trevor Noah a lot . Trust me, Trevor roasts Joe Biden a lot. I remember Trevors show after the state of the union was hilarious. I truly appreciate that the White House asked him to do the dinner in spite of all this

What a banging performance?! I genuinely shocked how good this was. Almost every joke landed. Love how he didn’t take himself too serious. And in the end he turned it around to more serious matters and almost brought tears to my eyes. He is so right: Without a free and pluralistic media, no democracy can sustain itself. I always saw him as a lovable but maybe out-of-touch dad. This speech really shows a great sense of humor and awareness, he had some really nice jokes. I forget he's the president sometimes, and he's actually done such a good job while being low-key (maybe to his detriment). Not fond of Joe as a politician, but man, I forgot how relieving it is to not have an egomaniac for president. Biden recently had a series of triumphs with several successful passages of important legislation, such as The Inflation Act, The Chips Act and The Pact Act, along with several weeks worth of lower gas prices, big job numbers and the elimination of the terrorist Zewahari. As a result, there were some Biden enthusiasts that played upon that formerly derisive name and turned it around on its head. I loved that some even embellished it by calling Biden, "Dark Brandon", meaning he is not some milquetoast, ineffective leader, but a serious fighting contender who gets things done. As Trevor would say, I SEE YOU, NAYSAYERS!!
