- Three Act Tragedy is a work of detective fiction by Agatha Christie first published in the United States by Dodd, Mead and Company in1934 under the title Murder in Three Acts and in the UK by the Collins Crime Club in January 1935 under Christie's original title. The US edition retailed at $2.00 and the UK edition at seven shillings and sixpence(7/6).
The book features Hercule Poirot, supported by his friend Mr Satterthwaite, and is the one book in which Satterthwaite collaborates with Poirot. Satterthwaite previously appeared in the stories featuring Harley Quin, in particular those collected in The Mysterious Mr Quin(1930). The novel was adapted for television twice, first in 1986 titled Murder in Three Acts, and again in 2010 as Three Act Tragedy. (Summary by Wikipedia)

Wonderful wonderful Andrew Sachs I’ve never heard him narrate a book before, his voices of each character is incredible.
Egg's a bunny boiler😮! 😂 Wonderful narration. Sachs is much underrated as an actor. ❤
What! An incredible narrator, he brings a book alive.
It's not Hugh. But I listen to these at work at night. And this voice is awesome. Whomever he is has such a range
Could it be David Suchet?
Andrew Sachs now deceased who played Manuel in Fawltey Towers.
@@sarahmata6293 no the book is narrated by hugh fraser got the thing on cd
@@alexlazebat839You may well, but the voice of the person narrating this audio is Andrew Sachs and not Hugh Frazer.
@@localbod i know on cd its hugh fraser but they are a lot of them, Nigel Hawthorne does murder in the mews
Surely that’s Andrew Sachs narrating? ….a wonderful actor , equally as brilliant as Hugh Fraser
Andrew Sachs is a good reader. Enjoyed this very much. Thank you!
Its not Hugh but it's an equally awesome narrator!
I adore Hugh Frasier as narrator but this may be the only instance where someone else narrated a Poirot story better. Andrew Sachs is great here.
Excellent reader nice change of pace from mr fraser
Mr Sattersthwaite’s lost love 😢
Lovely conversations between him and Lady Mary.
I don’t know who the narrator is, but it’s not Hugh Fraser.
Yes, I think Sachs' voice is ideal for this story.
REALLY? QUE?
@amt1960 Andrew Sachs did a lot more and better than that boring faulty towers.
dd. Rc😂😂😂😂😂😂(4😂😂4 c
I miss Hugh Fraser. Especially in Mr Satherthwaite.
Love the narrator
Not Hugh Fraser, but still, good narration.
AGATHA Christie is the best and is my favorite of all mystery writers
Just wonderful! Thank you…
Thank you so much for sharing!!
The reader is first class!
I love Andrew Sachs narration of this story.. up there with Hugh Fraser
This is wonderful✨
Thank you
Love Mr. Satterthwaite, thank you.
thank you for uploading this!
That's not Hugh Frazer 😐
You are right. Not read by Hugh Fraser. Not his voice.
I know. Funny how we have our favorites. Joan Hickson, Margaret Rutherf9rd, Geraldine McEwan. Basil Rathbone ect....
It's interesting to have Mr. Satterthwaite and not have Harley Quin. They are my favorite. I'm not sure about Poroit and Satterthwaite, they are very similar to me.
That is Andrew Sachs and not Hugh Frazer.
the narrator is great, but what is appalling is that this channel purposely edited the “audible intro” and inserted Librivox reading “On Purpose”. That is just wrong
It's not wrong. They're acting as the "presenter" of the audiobook, so it's required. Otherwise they likely can not upload it as a straight post
I agree 💯
Not Hugh Fraser 😕
So not Huge Fraser
Poor Oliver 😟 Oh well, at least he’s good looking 😁
Thanks for removing Hugh Frasers name from the description.
That was misleading.
Not Hugh Fraser
This isn't hugh Fraser
This isn’t Hugh Fraser🇦🇺
Why did this version change the motive? The hard book version had a different and better motive. Not this jane eyre-y version.
Sometimes Agatha Christie did that (played with different endings, motives, etc.). This might be an instance of that.
yeah I found that out the hard way; the paperback version I had first (and the one movie version I knew for yrs) had one motive. When I got the ebook version (and an audiobook to go with it), I was shocked to see a totally different motive. After some research, I found out that the earlier version was the "US" edition; the later one is the "original" ending. IMO, I kinda like the orig one better; less soap opera silly.
This is Not Hugh Fraser, what a BUMMER
Oh, I think Andrew Sachs does a superb job with this novel.
Same here, and even if people don’t, there’s no need to be rude.
Not Hugh Frazer
It's not Hugh Frasier
This is not Hugh Fraser !
Not Hugh Fraser for sure 😮😮
Great narrator, I’m not familiar with Andrew sachs so don’t know if it is him, maybe if he did a Spanish accent 😅😅😅. Sadly he died in 2016.
You’re right…it isn’t HughFraser🇦🇺

Yes this is Sir Hugh Fraser. Go to start it tells y0u. I think he has a hoarse throat and no wonder poor fellow.❤❤
Hugh Fraser.. huh??

That does not sound like Hugh Fraser.
See below - Andrew Sachs
Not High Fraser
Not read by Hugh Frazer ......
Please correct thr narrator as he is NOT Hugh.
He is in anything like here who Fraser there are some on here. That are so bad you can't listen to this man's voice. You can listen to but he does the French OK but all the rest. Aren't I are spoken in Ah? Just because he is a deep voice but they're all spoken in.
Canadian type English.
There's no British accent there when you if you want to remember what you phrased or is like.
Listen to murder is easy again and then you see and remember what hes really like a good reader.
???🤔
This is not Hugh Frasier.!!!!@@ doh!!!@
The narrator is NOT Hugh.please correct or be reported.
It is not Hugh Fraser. False advertising, not going to subscribe.
It is Sir Hugh Fraser it tells who ŕeads it at the start and goes on to the end being Sir Hugh Fraser.. Fraser. Amateurs. Now leave it alone and let me listen to Hugh Fraser.
This reading is played at a very fast pace. So Fraser’s voice is sped up and sounds different.

NOT HUGH FRASER!!!!
Why did you bother lying. I feel sorry for the real narrator
I don't understand why Agatha Christie is so extremely highly considered as a Mystery Writer.
Her books are filled with 45% words not needed. Adds nothing to the stories, just waste of time, and no value to the stories.
zenkertaahl: What do you mean? Do you have an example of a part that's over written?
Not arguing. I'm just curious as to what you mean
I agree but only in some of her inferior work. Or, is it inferior because of the filler?
She’s from a different era, and I’m not sure all of her plots have aged that well. A lot of her characters and dialogue certainly haven’t.
Please, PLEASE read more. Her books are EXTREMELY well written, and there is no unneccessary dialogue, or description.
