- A client sent me a busted SE/30 board to repair. It's deceptively clean, and in much better shape than the last one I fixed. Or so I thought.
Watch as I find bad traces, more bad traces, and even more bad traces to find out if this will be a MARCHintosh miracle.

You got another subscriber due to Mac84, I am getting a battery bombed IIcx, and I’m a novice to these type repairs but not to Macs. I used to own quite a few, but I’m getting back into it! Thanks for the video! Great job, no one can be successful 100% of the time with these “battery bombs”, however there’s ALWAYS salvageable parts that may revive another machine!
As a Paramedic I would pay handsomely for a T-shirt with a Pram design and quote "Pull the battery out, Save a life!"
The battery killed my SE/30 logic - it leaked everywhere!
And I thought my mysterious SE/30-with-no-caps board was bad! Whew. Makes me feel more optimistic about the repair. Fingers crossed for a #MARCHintosh miracle!
Steve's a good guy. We shall see if he can pull something off. He's already made great progress.
‘tis the season for miracles!
Aye laddie!
Lets Hope Steve Can Do The Magic
i realize I am kind of off topic but do anyone know a good place to watch new tv shows online ?
@Ayaan Grant try flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
@Colson Stephen definitely, I have been using Flixzone for months myself :D
@Colson Stephen thank you, I went there and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :D Appreciate it !!
@Ayaan Grant No problem xD
I would put it in the dishwasher to clean it.
That is certainly an option, and I've done it before.
What was your process for the wash in the sink? It looked like you used some type of soap? How long to dry?
Soft brush, warm water, dish detergent. I dried it overnight on the dehumidifier. You can use compressed air if you need less drying time.
Thank you!
Cool intro also awesome video.
Great video! You tried your best!
'sall I can do!
Ever done anything on a commodore 64 1541 disk drive
Yup. Do a search on my channel, and you'll find my video on a complete restore of my Commodore 64, which includes modding the disk drive for Jiffy DOS.
Javier strikes again? Seriously man just stop breaking antiques.
:D
sad face.
