I’m so sorry for your loss!! I’m from Arkansas too! Your grandpa sounds amazing!! My dad was 42 when I was born. I have 4 other siblings- most old enough to be my parents. So I was obviously not expected but my parents were the best!! He was a music minister so we could always find him - you just has to stop and listen… if he wasn’t singing around the house he was whistling. Remember all the good times and trust that you will be with him again one of these days ❤🙏🏻

Praying your grief is short and that God will flood your hearts and minds with fond memories. So sorry for your sad news but also so happy he knew the Lord. We as believers when confronted with death think did they know Jesus. It changes everything.

I'm very sorry for your loss he will be sadly missed by you Savanah your husband family relatives and friends. He looked and sounded like a lovely man. My husband Alan was also a big fan of Elvis and still is. He once took his mother to the cinema to see Elvis in one of his Films and she fell in love with him straight away she could see now why her son loved him so much. Sadly his parents are no longer with us and have not been for many years now but we still remember the happy we both had with them.This got me thinking about my mum and dad who are no longer with us. My husband and myself are now living in there house and have done so for 9 years and 2 month. My beautiful mum passed away back in 2015 15 July to Kidney Disease I still miss her terribly to this day also my wonderful dad who was taken from me to Prostate Cancer back on 6th April 2008 even when he was so ill he would be thinking of others what could he doing to help them never himself always helping others he and mum were very keen golfers. The memories that we have so many in our house now and the house used to be full at New Year with friend and relatives up until the wee small hours celebrating. My mum also was a very good cook and my dad's mum baked cakes fruit loafs and her best one ever was Lemon Meringue Pie and her Fruit Loaf we still have the recipes yet of my mum's cooking and my dad's mum's baking gran to me every day she baked just encase someone would drop by which they did most of the relatives would pop in including me and if they didn't she ate what she made herself. We just need to look around our home everything tells a story and so many photos of other relatives who have past on tells a story. In my back room I have fond memories of my Grandad as I called him as a wee boy in a huge Edwardian frame my mum got this done from a photo he had got it all touched up to make it look really good the results are stunning to look at now that it is on the wall the different clothes they wore then a different century and place what would it have been like then I wonder! Life is Precious put lots of laughter in as well I know that's not easy just now take time out think about all the good time you did have with him and you do have him on video! time is a great healer! Take as many photographs Of family and places the things you do. I''m am 65 now June 17th and my husband is nearly 77 two days before Christmas 23rd December. Life is short grab each day and fill it with as many things in a day as you can and look back on your achievements you have done I say !! Again condolences to you Savanah and the rest of your family from myself Sheila and my husband Alan all the way from a rainy day in Perth Scotland UK.😥👍

I'm so sorry for your loss but as y'all said it makes the loss so much easier knowing that person is saved, I've lost both my parents and I'm so glad they were both Christians and I know I will see them again one day !!

I'm so sorry for your loss. We pray thr overwhelming peace of God that surpasses all understanding to fill you and comfort you. We lost my dad, a Desert Storm War Veteran, in February ashamed kids grew up with him like a Father. They find comfort in knowing that when Jesus returns, we will all see each other again.
