      Had the opportunity to use this pitch to create a low pressure sense of urgency today on a roof that was only 4 years old but was installed so poorly it couldn't be repaired. Sold it on the spot!

    First off I want to say thank you for everything you do, and all of the videos you put out it has helped me exponentially. I am a roofing salesman in Minnesota that specializes in storm damage. As you know Minnesota has a lot of farming communities and I have struggled with closing or even sometimes getting to the pitch with a farmer. How best would you handle this?

    Hey Adam, I own a roofing company in north Texas. I’m not sure what area you’re located in, but I have a commercial install coming up and I wanted to see if you want to do a video on how to take achieve a commercial roof claim from start to finish. From the first phone call/visit, the different meetings with the property manager, to the install. Not many videos out there on that, just an idea.
    Cheers

    just in case there are people out there who have yet to purchase his sales training and complete system, you are hurting yourself. Within less than two weeks using the system while trying to break into a neighborhood, I landed three very solid leads that could lead to multiple jobs from each. plus their all on the same street which means heavy exposure to neighbors. One of those jobs in scheduled of tomorrow, one is signed and waiting on insurance, the other is reading through the contract and was very interested. I get this is anecdotal but it's solid stuff.

    I thought it was a great video abs valid points. When referring to the “stock market”, are you using the S&P 500 as the basis? Just curious.

    • @TheRoofStrategist
      @TheRoofStrategist  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I looked at all the major indexes (including the S&P 500) and presented the reasonable range :) Great question!

    How do I get past the homeowner's need for an estimate breakdown on material and labor in a retail job? Especially when all aspects of the job are spelled out in the contract. You're getting this, this, this, those, and that for X amount. The price breakdown is generally in the invoice at the end when we have an accurate tally of the components used.

    • @TheRoofStrategist
      @TheRoofStrategist  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Aah got it! Great question. Honestly - I rarely if ever hear that. If it were me, I’d first respond by saying that the line items are all inclusive of material and labor.
      If they are persistent- I want to get to the bottom of it - their reason why. Usually it’s because they want to do some of the labor to save money. But instead of trying to overcome the question/objection I would say, “May I ask you a question? I’ve never been asked this before because our estimates are all inclusive. How will having the breakdown of material and labor help you make a decision?”
      Then let them talk :)

      Hey James - what do you mean? I always provide an itemized estimate, but I do not break out material/labor. What kind of breakdown are they asking for?
