If you check plug gap on brand new plugs it would not be surprising to find several that are not gapped properly. I have seen 2 or 3 out of spec on a purchase of 8.
Are there any print manuals for this sort of tune-up? The manual I have is written in Japanese language and I really need to tune up my cami since i had it since august of 2016. Thank you for these tips. Great to see that such mechanic really takes time to explain in detail what those of us no mechanics needs to know prior to tackling tune up for the Toyota cami. Can you also come out with another video on fixing or changing stabilizing bushings and all bushings for the suspension system for the same model of vehicle. My cami also needed changing these. Any help would be very appreciated.
Bruce E. Robert you can find lots of how to vids online. you shouldn't need a manual. most 4 cylinder vehicles are this easy. I'm sure you can handle it...if you want a shop to do it average costs parts and labor $130-180

They are ment to be LIFE TIME fluid. ( No service required ) But you should change it atleast every 70k miles in my opinion . Life time with same fluid is crazy . Some of these go upto 400,000 Miles. I would change oil atleast 3 or 4 times in its lifetime.
Watch the Scotty Kilmer videos. NEVER EVER flush a transmission. BUT you DO want to drain it every 30 thousand if you plan on keeping the vehicle. It really doesnt matter if you dont keep a car very long before you trade it but the new owner will be screwed. ESPECIALLY if the car is a rolling piece of crap like Chrysler and many others these days. Again scotty kilmer knows everything to all your questions.
Oh yeah . Expacially the NGK lazer Irridium . Makes a world of a difference also if you have radio speakers or lights . HID. Better ignition . Better spark . Better power . Longer life. Healthier engine . And its only 4 plugs . So incase one goes bad on the road. You would have 3 STRONG sparks. NGK FOR LIFE . .
usually you change the plugs, oil filter and oil the cabin air filter and air filter also along with your distributator cap and rotor if you have one and wires.
Samson Fualaau usually all you need is plugs...if a really bad misfire then you have to find which ignition coil is bad. most newer models don't have a cap or rotor or fuel filter so check with your local parts dealer.

Ahah you make a tune up video with one of the dirtiest engine bays I've ever seen and you applied anti-seize to spark plugs. Not exactly a good role model...
OfficeBear i guess you have nothing better to do then cry about how busy not dirty my shop is while im helping people with howto youtube vids. Get a life or make your own videos . Help others don't bash them
How are you helping people if you're giving them false directions and not doing it properly? I'm surprised that no bolt fell into the oil fill hole, that would've been a pain in the ass to get out... Also you're not specifying that the ratchet should be kept as vertical as possible so as not to break the plugs... You're completely spazzing out throughout the entire video as if someone was holding a gun to your head. Throwing the cover to the ground, rattling the cables around. Geez man it looks like you're tweaking. 2:09 "fibre" and "carbon fibre buildup" If you really want to help out others then just don't give them any mechanics-related "advice." 2:43 aaaaand you tapped the plug's tip against the engine. Nice way to mess with the factory gap. All I have to say now is just tsk tsk tsk.
Thanks for the video. I was struggling to get the plugs out and end up using Poly tube used for irrigation this helped heaps. Thanks again.
Iridium Long Life Spark Plugs do not need the anti-seize. It is applied to the plug at the factory. Too much anti-seize can cause several problems.
jeff thanks for the tip! :)
Thank you, it does matters what type of brand should be good for the spark plugs?
You forgot to check the OEM spark plug gap specs.
Also the proper torque setting for the spark plugs

1/4 of my new NGK IRIDIUM Spark plugs were off one or two measurements. Gap size is 1.1mm
Wrong procedure. You should do it one plug at a time dont remove the 4 plugs at the same time.
You didn't say how long the extension needs to be. I had to find a different video.
Why remove oil cap ?
So that things can accidentally drop in, then the car owner should pay another taking it out payments ...
Tamin
Benefits?
Nice short video 👌
