IT'S AN ABSOLUTE HONOR! You are the channel that actually inspired me to start capturing some of our work! we're a full-service paving pavement maintenance outfit, but sealcoating and striping is just so satisfying to watch! Thankyou for the comment and the inspiration my friend, lots more to come.
Awesome video i always tell my boss he needs to make a vide like this , great explanation of what its going on. We use masking tape on the end of driveways and entrances and exits it just gives it that clean finish. Great work
Great video! Nice big driveway... So you can just put new crack fill right over the old crack fill? You don't have to do anything to the old stuff first?
Hey, so I’m building my own rig and I have a 300 gallon tank and a husky 1590 pump I’m curious how many cfm Air compressor do I need? Thanks so much. Enjoyed the video.
Howdy, good to see a more local company doing social media. I’m based out of southwest Washington. Just curious, how often are you guys going through your L7 and L10 tips? About how much square footage are you guys getting out of them?
I love the spray system that you uses. Do you sell or can your direct me where I can get that same system. Also if you have an old one that you would like to sell me
We just had our driveway paved. Whoever was operating the roller ran through some dirt before getting back up on to the asphalt. So there's a large area that's discolored because his roller wasn't clean. Wife hates it. Asphalt is now a few weeks freshly paved. Is it too soon to put a seal coat on top of it to make her happy? She wants it perfectly black and nice looking. If we can just seal it now and make it look perfect, what product do you recommend? I'm going to do it myself because we are tired of having to rely on someone "doing it right the first time." That hasn't worked out for us lately.
My understanding as a fellow homeowner who tends to over research many things, it't best to wait a full year for the new asphalt to cure/dry out before sealing it. I have had pretty good results using Home Depot's Dalton Latexite 10 year sealer/filler (reality it looks and seals good for up to 3 years in climates that experience the 4 seasons and get some snow, car detailing on them, etc.). I Have hired pros on a few occasions they will do the job much faster than I can, however their product seems to last only about a year and rarely fills in small cracks/porous areas as well as the HD sealer buckets applied with a squeegee. Good luck!
Question for you. Are you in Portland, Oregon? If so, I am a brand new to seal coating and am wanting to start a business and could use a hand with some questions. If that sounds like something you’d be into please let me know :).
Thanks for the question and its becuase pressure washing would take far too long, it would make the pavement wet and we need it dry for sealcoating, also pressure washing just isn't good for asphalt, it will eat it up.
Filling cracks is such a waste of time. Customers do not understand once ur driveway is cracked, theirs nothing u can do other than patch or get a new driveway if it’s that bad of cracks
Omg the overspray. Do yall even tip your wand or are you to scared to get it on you? I’d really hope you brush out away from garage doors with that overspray you are doing my guy. It’s crazy how people have a business in this field of work but don’t think about things as such. That’s just laziness. Been doing this for 10 years and if I ever seen you do that I would fire you. 😂 I would also hope you second coat that with all the light spots and man are yall not gonna edge that driveway or just leave overgrown grass? I wouldn’t let future customers see this video.
This just drives me nuts. I was taught way differ and you let it drip over the edge and then brush it side to side to fill voids and there’s no excess dripping and puddling and running into the yard at all. And for sure you don’t spray driveways, you want to brush it all to fill voids and make sure to work the brush 1/2 a brush length overlap to fill voids both ways. Always always always brush driveways and you do exactly what u did on the first coat to give em quality work. Don’t just spray and not cut in again. U want wet material if you’re gonna spray so it all blends. Anyone watching this and wants to do the diy stuff, just pony up the money and have someone do it. Homedepot or lowes material is trash. U want that 30% water mix and add silica sand for texture and latex additive to give it some flex when wheels are turning on it. And surely don’t want to see your thick raised brush marks so the driveway in this video, I’d do by hand by myself in 4hrs one coat brush and that’s edging and cleaning and wire brushing all edges and dirty spots and push blower to clear it off. Two coats, by myself I’d have it done in 7hrs

Wow, really well done video. Very informative. We definitely need more of these longer videos.
You got it! Once we have some nicer weather, I'll definitely put some together - thanks for the feedback.
Great video! 👏

Really cool video! This is the first video that I watched from your channel and I just subscribed. Keep up the great work!
Nice work! Your camera and drone shots are perfect👍🏼 Thks for posting.

I really enjoyed this video, and the results are awesome.

Y’all did your thing. Nice job
Appreciate it - the boys did a great job, first time I got to get the drone out on them I think.
What product are you using for seal coating. A great video.❤
Hello....very good work in all of your videos.
Thanks! Going to hit it hard next summer. you too!
Do you ever sand over your crack fill to make it less noticeable after sealing
I like how you prep.
Hey, so I’m building my own rig and I have a 300 gallon tank and a husky 1590 pump I’m curious how many cfm Air compressor do I need? Thanks so much. Enjoyed the video.
Why aren't you spraying with the buggy instead of the wand?
Is there any way not to leave those distinct lines showing from doing the edge work with the brush?
Very nice looking job guy's !
Can you give us an idea/how much charge

Hey Jason, thanks for the comment and question! I'll need to ask our stripers, I'll try to find out for you - give me a few days.
@@coastpave ask your guy who runs the spray wand.. he will know. The tips I’m talking about are for the seal coat spray wand.
I don’t know if you already mentioned this but could you tell me what sealant you are using? Thanks
we use a number of suppliers, some with more success than others.
@@coastpaveWhich sealer has been the most successful for you?
he doesnt know because thats not his company@@fgjf1079
I love the spray system that you uses. Do you sell or can your direct me where I can get that same system. Also if you have an old one that you would like to sell me
Thanks for reaching out, I appreciate it - we don't have one to sell, but I'd check out craigslist and striping equipment online
How much did you charge for 18 k square feet much love from Houston TX incredible video would love to hear more about your work
Interesting how many cracks the crack filler guy misses. Wonder if it's worth the $$ to do the job if he's not going to get all the adjoining cracks.
right 😭 it kind of irked me

Just did a 33,000sf driveway last week!
Working together.....wow....I'm jealous.
How much did that job cost
Why didn’t you sealcoat with the buggy itself?
Where you guys from ? And how much you charge
What is that rotating broom?
Great work!!
Thanks Bryan, I appreciate it!
@@coastpave You are very welcome!!
Great job 👍👍
Thank you very much! Although, all I did was film - the boys were the ones working hard! 😜
What does a job like this retail for?
I'm new to the seal coating business.
Nice, enjoy it - it can be profitable!

Give Jose an organic respirator so he doesn’t die prematurely.
Is easy ti replace Jose with one of the millions of people pouring in to the country lol😅
Can concrete be spayed in a parking lot
It peels off
Prices
You mentioned doing a second spray coat in the middle of the driveway. Is that something you come back and?
Why not use a pressure washer to clean
Thanks for the question and its becuase pressure washing would take far too long, it would make the pavement wet and we need it dry for sealcoating, also pressure washing just isn't good for asphalt, it will eat it up.
@@coastpave if you add and unloader to the machine , you can dial down the the pressure. But ya i understand but it being dry for coating
My job really needs the spray
