- Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has ruled out any peace talks until Ukraine is completely defeated, blaming the recent attack in Kursk on "neo-Nazis." As for Medvedev's accusation that U.K. was involved in the incursion, U.K. tabloid _Sun_ reported that U.K. trained a group of Ukrainian soldiers for several days before the incursion. Even CNN's chief international correspondent was shocked by the volume of Western weapons he saw as he recently walked across the Russia-Ukraine border with the Ukrainian military. There is little doubt Ukraine's Western backers had somehow supported the incursion just like how they have been supporting the overall conflict: by allowing Ukraine to use their weapons, by providing military training, or both.
Ukraine has started to describe the Russian territory it currently holds as "exchange fund", signaling its intent to use the land as bargaining chips to force Russia to negotiate on what Zelensky characterized as "fair" terms. Besides reflecting the escalation, I think that Medvedev's ruling out of peace talks until Ukraine is completely defeated is a response to Ukraine's intent to use Russian territory as "exchange fund" as well. It is like saying to Kyiv: "Russia will never cave."

I lived in both countries and witnessed this: Britain remains Russia's self-assigned relentless enemy for hundreds of years without Russia's faults or interventions just to break it's strength & progression. But, why ? out of hate & fear !!!
Over four million tons of supplies were delivered to the Russians in ww2. As well as tanks and aircraft, these included less sensational but still vital items like trucks, tractors, telephone wire, railway engines and boots.
