    Love my Loon 120! A little heavy, but the most comfortable and adjustable seat I've sat in. Would love to see a review of a 120 or the 126 angler!

      Thanks for the feedback. I’d love to get in one too. Especially as we move into fall and cooler temps on the water.

    Another great review.
    I love my loon. Sometimes it’s a little too stable and wide but it’s great. Got a skirt for it for cooler days. So comfortable!

    Be nice to see a Loon 126 vs Pungo 125 review/shootout. As these are supposed to be the two most stable and comfortable kayaks in their class, with regards to price. Also can't seem to find any comparison of the two out there what so ever. It would be a good video to get some views for you I bet.

    I have the OT Sportsman 120 paddle only version for fishing and I am adding the Loon 126 Angler to my fleet this year. Looking forward to having a sit inside option and it is hard to beat the quality of Old Town. Great videos and honest reviews. Keep up the great work!

    Hi buddy was wondering a choice between the eddline sky10 vs the old town loon 106 for urban kayaking mostly calm waters in nyc area. The loon looks like u can adjust to get really comfortable seating and sky looks like easy paddling. Thanks for any info.

    Curious why someone might go with this over like a Moken? Seems like more room in Moken and less $. And maybe a bit better weight capacity.

    • @paddleboy84
      @paddleboy84  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The Performace of a sit in is better. They are also lighter off the water. More protection from the elements in cooler months. I’m not saying it’s better, I bet the Moken outsells this 10-1, but for some folks it would be a better tool.

      Oh thats a Dead Fish Polo sponge. Basically a double-sided sponge with webbing holding it together. You use your paddle to toss it. If it lands on someone's board or boat you get a point. If they catch it, they get a point. If you flip you lose a point. The first one to 10 wins.

    love your reviews! I would love to see a video review on your best kayaks that you think would be best to bring your dog with you. I am looking to get a new kayak because I just rescued a Chihuahua and I feel my hurricane 116 is a little small to have her in the with mad I use the dashboard that comes with it.

    Great content as always Dan. Looks like a pretty fast little boat, would you say that's accurate? What would you prefer between this and the pungo 105? Seeing them both, I feel like the Old Town just seems to have a higher build quality.

    • @Jrc4120
      @Jrc4120 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Side note, it does come with a paddle holder. It should be with the anchor, it's a taco style that screws into the pre-drilled holes on the side.

    • @paddleboy84
      @paddleboy84  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ha! I’m the worst reviewer on the planet! I’ll check that tonight. I’ve got both the Pungo and loon. Both are sweet and similar build. I need to do a side by side.

      @@paddleboy84 haha no you've got the best reviews in the business! I've been eyeing up the Loon 106, but was worried about slow hull speed being 31 inches wide. It looks like a quick little boat in this video, though!

  • @eddielikesfishing
    @eddielikesfishing 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's a beautiful boat. It tracks nice, it handles nice, it has great stability, but one question remains. Can you get a spray skirt for that cavernous cockpit opening? Fishing in cold weather one might want one to prevent cold water from getting inside.

    • @paddleboy84
      @paddleboy84  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t looked. At that point I may just go with a pair of dry pants from Level six, NRS, or Kokatat.

    Where do you put a Tackle box?

    • @paddleboy84
      @paddleboy84  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You’d have to be smart with your gear and pack light. There is room around the seat and in the front hatch, but this isn’t a kayak you’d fish a tournament in, it’s a two rod, one Plano box kind of kayak.
